Dissertation/Project: Design and constructing a solid waste powered Stirling Engine Generator Stirling engines are very old engines and are still in limited use in some applications. The advantages of this engine have been researched thoroughly and therefore the defects were developed. As this engine works with any external heat source, and because the solid waste increases, we linked between these facts in one application. The production of solid waste constantly increases, and because the methods of disposing wastes have many risks, they were eliminated in the operation of the Stirling engine. Previous designs, in addition to research on the design of the Stirling engine, were researched and developed to increase the efficiency. The development of the engine was intense due to some issues such as increasing the amount of heat expulsion in the cold cylinder. We concluded the study by proving that the Stirling engine contributed greatly to the reduction of solid waste and its harmful impact on the environment.
