•Managing the bank’s real-estate finance retail product lines. Tasks include: identifying new product concepts and approving them from the concerned committees within the bank, write up of product policy & procedures, identifying system enhancement requirements, working with the Sharia committee in formulating Sharia compliant products, market research, constructing marketing & sales strategy, tie-up with real estate developers, setting up the product’s budget, and ensuring product compliance with regulatory requirements.
•Leading the securitization team in the bank which includes members from corporate banking and the risk department. Tasks include: Successfully completed a 400M transaction and currently working on 1 Billion deal by purchasing several portions of leasing portfolios within the Saudi Market. Completed securitization product development in terms of setting up the policy, procedures, and documentation.
•Represented the bank in the Real Estate Development Fund product development meetings which included delegates from all the banks working in Saudi Arabia.
•Currently managing the following products:
1.Real Estate Finance in the form of Murabaha (existing product)
2.Real Estate Finance in the form of Ijarah
3.Investment Real Estate Finance product
4.Finance against pledged property
5.Real Estate Finance Buy-Out (Finalized in Jan. 2013)
•Managing the Housing Murabaha product, tasks include: Monitoring the product’s performance in terms of sales and budget allocations, continues market study, forming the sales team for the product, marketing, and promotion planning. Coordinating with the projects team on system enhancements and business requirements for the product. Set up of MS reporting functions. Conducted product training to all related staff, preparing all marketing collaterals.
•Managed the kick-off in developing the housing loans (Ijarah) and the secured overdraft products. Tasks include but not limited to: drafting the product paper, drafted the product processes and procedures document, negotiating with valuation and insurance vendors, identifying system requirements & coordinating system enhancements with the projects team, .
•Managing the relationship with the advertising agency, by developing and reviewing marketing materials (above & below the line) for all retail products, planning and organizing marketing campaigns, exhibit participation coordination & preparations, production & design of gift items, reviewing invoices, and conducting market research.
•Participated in the development of internet banking. Tasks included: Continues development of the service, formulating MIS reports, collaborated with concerned departments on applying quarterly enhancements to the service, testing new features and solving customer issues.
•Participated in the development and launch of conventional and Islamic Credit Cards. Tasks included: following up with projects team on the technical implementation, developing marketing strategies and sales plan, took part in creating the procedures of application processing and card embossing & dispatch.
•Other participations in products & services development projects include unsecured personal loans, phone banking IVR system, SADDAD on e-channels, process of delivering of ATM cards, readiness & implementation of IBAN, Al-Maha (ladies banking) & Gold accounts including royalty programs.
•Formed and managed a tele-sales unit (personal loans, CCs), responsible of responding to leads generated through the electronic channels and exhibit participation.
•Preparing a semi-annual gap analysis & competition report.
•Member of the Bank’s social committee, and representing the bank in SAMA’s Islamic banking committee
•Completed 4 months of internal training on products and services, polices & procedures, operations, administrative affairs, and HR requirements for the branch.
•Participated in drawing up the marketing strategy (for the company & branch), sales plan, budget, and operation process flow between HO & branch.
•Meeting potential clients and drafting proposals according to their requirements.
