* Held the role of PAN Administrator “Process Automation Network” which includes systems like: (DCS, ESD, PLC, VMS, CCC, and Metering) systems.
* Improved Cyber Security of the Automation System such as: (Security Programs, Plans, and Policies; System and Network Security Techniques).

* Participated in commission Automation System and coordinated the startup and handover from the construction team to the end user.
* Designed and manage the execution of several design packages that include plant modification and new additions.
* Participated in multiple Process Hazard Analysis teams (HAZOP, PHA, etc.), identified possible hazards and recommended solutions for safer and more efficient operation.
* Participated in multidisciplinary teams to investigate equipment failures and process upsets. Determine root cause, recommended corrective actions, and follow with execution and reporting.
Actively support all R&NGLF Admin Area Facilities (4 refineries and 2 NGL gas plants) for the following :
* Participate in the team to conduct a technical support to latest Refinery Project.
* Implement the corporate Cyber-security Recommendations.
* Implement the Network Security Enhancement Phases for the Plant Network Systems.
* Provide security monitoring software that automates the mechanism of ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco Standards.
* Implement Plants Firewalls and DMZ enhancement.
* Build, develop, and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, and vendors to formulate solutions for customer system issues related to Information Security.
* Coordinate between plants PAN Administrators and Process Control Systems (PCS) vendors.
* Provide technical direction for the Security Incident Response function within the Cyber Security team.
* Provide technical support for new installation/Upgrade of Industrial Process Control Systems.
* Support all projects and processes documentation/writing efforts associated with refinery and gas plants projects that provide Knowledge Management and Training Support to the command.
* Work with Subject Matter Experts across cross-functional teams to define documentation and establish processes for updating and publishing as needed.
* Leads efforts in the improvement and development of process/procedure manuals and documentation for incident response, threat intelligence, advanced persistent threat detection and vulnerability analysis.
The compliance platform shall:
* Collect technical information from the different Process Networks & Systems (PN&S) and provide standard electronic survey templates for non-technical assessment.
* Provides a thorough knowledge-base of cyber security technical and nontechnical controls.
* Aggregate, analyze, and correlate compliance assessment findings with reports of noncompliance trending
* Expand and mature existing incident response processes and activities.

Systems engineering is a multidisciplinary field that assists in developing reliable systems and processes to meet technical, cost and schedule requirements. With today's global competition, products and services must be developed with minimum defects and risks. In the design and development of a system, systems engineering integrates all involved functions by applying proven tools and techniques across life cycle phases. The masters (MSSE) degree program in systems engineering provide engineers and scientists the necessary skills and education to integrate all engineering and management functions involved in a project for its on-time and under-budget completion.
The Information and Computer Science (ICS) Department at KFUPM was established in September 1979 and it developed and evolved over the years to become one of the active departments of the University in teaching, research, and service to the university. Moreover, the ICS department is recognized throughout the Gulf and many parts of the world for its excellence in education and research. The department provides 2 four-year undergraduate programs leading to Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. We also have well-established graduate programs leading to the Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, Master of Science (MS) in Software Engineering, Master of Science (MS) in Security & Information Assurance, and a joint program of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering. The department has about 37 full-time faculty members in several specialized areas of research.
