To manage and control the stock items (Inventory) at IbnZahr close coordination and communication with end-users and Supply Management Organization (GPS). Verifies materials cost effective availability in stock including all critical spares. Analyses needs for new stock items and get the approval from stock committee. Prepares appropriate report and analysis as requested by the management.
Lead and conduct daily meeting to manage materials for all department through inventory control.
Analyse daily production related reports and concerns related to materials trends. Propose on spot resolution to ensure availability and eliminate plan down time.
Analyse daily consumption to ensure purchase requisition and purchase orders are placed as per KPI. Lead with logistic department to meet on time delivery.
Proposes inventory optimization to reduce maintenance down time by effective planning techniques. Prepare periodic reports and analysis the materials trends and makes recommendation for continuous improvement.
Ensure the stock item materials are received on time. Ensure purchase requisition has correct description of items as per company specification. Also, ensure all specifications meet all engineering codes and standards.
Proposes usages of alternate materials with similar technical specification in coordination with Engineering Services to envisage cost saving and reliability. Defines spares that can be manufactured in house cost effectively, organize and provide technical support to the workshop personnel for the same.
Proposes disposal of surplus beyond repair and salvage materials. Identifies and minimize the stock of non-moving items.
Monitors and defines action to refurbish capital items. Propose and prepare budget for procurement
Updates the list of open purchase order and issues status report monthly and also follow-ups the rejected materials (OSDR) and take necessary action to close the case.
Plan and forecast all materials & services are meeting plant demand. Act and check issues to support Maintenance Planning & Filed Maintenance departments.
Review quotation, drawing and approve technical evolution. Coordinate with Global procurement service buyers to place purchase order with appropriate market price.
Verifies and maintaining materials availability in inventory stock including all A & B, EHSS critical spares.
Forecast inventory. Generate dashboard for PR, PO, and plant concern, submit to company executive authorities. Highlight concern with solution
To coordinate third party inspection for all mechanical, electrical equipment’s and civil installation for various clients.
To compile inspection report prepared by the field inspectors at various vendor location around the world.
Checking conformity of inspection result with client’s requirements.
To conduct regular follow up with the client and the vendors regarding the status of various purchase orders
Prepare detailed inspection reports with all necessary recommendation for the clients.
Review the field reports prepared by the inspectors
Prepare final inspection reports and forward to the respective clients.
To ensure prompt delivery of materials as per the client procurement schedule.
• Maintenance of rotary kilns, rotary coolers, digestors, conveyers, elevators, filters and vacuum pumps at the illmenite Benificiation plant, .
• Maintenance of Rotary and Reciprocating Compressors, Blowers, Heat exchangers, Turbines, Valves, Agitators etc. at the Pigment production plant
• Maintenance of pumps, gearboxes and involved in fabrication and machining operation in Lathe, Drilling machine, Grinding machine, Shaper etc. at the Central Mechanical workshop
• To schedule and carry out preventive maintenance activities.
• Planning and Condition Monitoring of rotary equipment with IRD-306, IRD fast track and conversant with the inspection and estimation of fabrication structural, painting Insulation pipelines, storage tanks, vessels etc.
• Planning long-term maintenance activities, Look-ahead Business Plans and integrate these into shutdown plans.
• Preparation of Turnaround Scope of Works, overhaul spares requirements, materials requisitions.
• Track shutdown work progress, prepare S-curves, bar charts, close - out reports, etc.
Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Calicut University. Kerala India
