- Review and approve shop drawings, calculations, and technical submittals (Material submittals, Method statements, ITP, …ETC) to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
- Liaise with core design team for the issues concerning site work & progress and assign jobs accordingly & as required. Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards
- Ability to implement a Testing and Commissioning Plan, Testing and Commissioning Procedures, Data Sheets, Testing Criteria, Testing and Commissioning Reports, and/or validate or invalidate testing and commissioning results for this discipline
- Reviewing all the mechanical IFC/shop drawings including specification. - Responsible for the participation in the progress and coordination meetings of the design projects and the preparation of the meeting records.
o Experience and understanding of HVAC design calculations and drawing, and knowledge of plumbing, drainage and firefighting design and installation requirements.
o Delivering large-scale multidisciplinary sustainable construction projects from within an engineering consultancy or design and build contractor.
o Reviewing all the mechanical IFC/shop drawings, method statements & ITPs and discussing with the team with relevant supporting documents to process for approval or disapproval.
o Design capability required to review impact of any field change requests (assessment of whether these are minor or major) and coordinating with internal design to complete any redesign deemed necessary
o Review of HSE Philosophy, Fire protection design basis, P&ID & Layout for Firewater system, Deluge, Sprinkler, Foam & Clean Agent Fire Suppression systems.
o Lead the Mechanical Inspectors in attending scheduled inspections via Work Inspection Requests, and provide accurate inspection comments related to the Mechanical works

o Job responsibility includes execution of Mechanical Services i.e. HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, BMS and GAS System design for a variety of Buildings including Multistory Residential, Office, Shopping Mall and Hotel Buildings Conforming to local Civil defense and other authority guidelines and international standards like ASHREA, ASPE and British Standards, NFPA etc.
o Conducting estimating & costing of air conditioning, plumbing & fire fighting works for high rise residential and commercial towers.
o Selecting & calculating static pressure of AHU, FCU and Exhaust Fan.
o Designing air distribution and duct.
o Responsible for quantity takes off different HVAC projects.
o Calculating heat load of commercial & residential buildings as per Dubai Municipality Requirements
Calculating cooling load of various buildings; designing air distribution and duct.
Responsible for material quantity takes off different high rise towers HVAC Projects.
Prepare specification documents to submit to vendors for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment
and evaluate same against tender specifications.
Review and generate Bill of Quantities against system drawings to ensure alignment, identify materials types
and quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation
Maintaining daily progress Report.
