Direct and manage all project phases - related to engineering service department at Dubai airports ( Basic and detailed ), design, construction, commissioning/ start- up and close out.
Maintain a strategic focus for projects with frequent interaction with business area ( Dubai Airports development and engineering services unit to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long term goals of the company.
Identity, manage and mitigate project risks. Coordinates with division management for risk items that become issues effecting deliverables and overall project scope. Lead regular project progress meetings in coordination with development manager.
Track projects against their schedules, Operation & maintenance training/ budget and against phase gate review objectives, reporting status to management and engineering services concerned section heads or a regular basis as needed. Prepare and present periodic management reports and presentations.
Identify project scope changes and prepare job change notices for submittal to clients. Recommend new processes where needed to improve quality, cost, or on- time delivery for sustainable design of each project and ensure conservation measures / energy saving measures are implemented.
Lead project teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives. Proactively disseminates project information to all engineering services senior team members. Conduct project status meeting with all engineering services system owner’s.
Ensure that the right product is developed and delivered to meet Dubai airports quality standards, and contract requirements. Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as defined by company. Comply with engineering services rules and policies and follow professional practices.
Implement safety and environmental requirements in all projects.

Manpower Planning
Monitoring daily attendance of all FM & Outsource staffs
Handling 400+ outsource staffs and their proper utilization at different sites
Introduced new system of Biometric attendance system for the accurate attendance monitoring.
Reviewing the monthly attendance records and sending clearance to Finance for the payments.
Planning and budgeting for the section including the outsource manpower
Ensuring the proper utilization of the section budget.
Reviewing the Training Needs of the dept. and arranging necessary trainings as required.
Handling and maintenance of all Access Equipment
Distribution of Monthly manpower rosters to all FM-Operation Departments on monthly basis.
Reviewing all preventive and corrective maintenance activities of FM

All other day to day activities of the section for its smooth operation.
Fit Out Constructions
Coordinating with DA departments for their small Fit-out Jobs
Evaluating the requirement and preparing the estimated cost of the projects.
Evaluating if the job can be executed in-house by the team or need to be outsourced.
Coordinating with the Outsource contractors about the project requirement.
Ensuring that the job is completed as per the plan and deadlines.
Coordinating with the Budget Team for necessary Budget Transfer

Decorations
Leading a Team of Furniture, Interior Decoration and Key Room Staffs.
Handling all works related to the Furniture, Interior Decoration and Keys
Managing the Furniture Store containing new and used furniture.
Coordinating with all Dubai Airports Departments regarding Furniture, Keys and Decoration Works
Implemented the new process of tagging the furniture for record keeping & location purpose.
Procurement of New Furniture as per the requirement.
Disposing off the unwanted furniture in coordination with Central Stores
Handling the cost sheets for provision of duplicate keys.
Intimating Finance Dept. for recovering the cost of keys provided to different users depts..
Controlling Stores for Material In and Material Out
