As Local Procurement Manager - DOKAAE PROJECT & KAME PROJECT
1- Aggressively worked to achieve significant cost savings through sourcing new suppliers and negotiating with the existing.
2- Cultivated solid business relationship with different suppliers that enabled us to achieve on overall averages cost savings. Conducted a price analysis on all vendors quotes and services to determine most desirable and cost-effective suppliers. This resulted in savings of approximately 20-50% or more.
3- Involved in identification of suppliers for materials, equipments or supplies, ensure product availability and negotiated of sale.
4- By using trade-in, 35-60% was saved after negotiation with all suppliers for which the power tools were purchased, and to provide an official status reports from the suppliers in order to make decision.
5- Consolidated suppliers base by 20% through the elimination of subpar suppliers while improving total cost and efficiencies.
6- Managed procurement with delivering best quality and exact time delivery along with ethical contribution of integrity.
7- Enriched teamwork knowledge by changing the responsibilities of the work.
8- Ensure on time delivery and improved purchasing quality through setting up the quality check procedures for the suppliers and personal on-site checking.
9- Worked regularly with project director and financial manager to discuss and implement cost savings and operational improvement.
10- Utilized ERP system reports and MS excel to analyse problem areas and create solutions.
11- Negotiated terms and conditions favourable considering quality, delivery and price.
12- Collaborated with IT to develop and implement purchasing/inventory management system.
13- Generated profit by selling old parts and other sitting in store on monthly basis.
