Guide the customers regarding the menu choices, such as the day's special delicacy or details of the dish they have not tried. After taking down the order with due confirmation, I have to hand over the same to the kitchen, then serve the customers and make sure the table settings are right.
Ensure that all table accessories are in place such as napkin holders, salt and pepper containers, and other essentials.
During meals, I occasionally check if the guests need some more food items.
After the meals, remove all the used utensils and plates from the table and clean it.
Confirm if there is no other order to place, after I to present the total bill.
Once the customers exit from the restaurant and ready the table again for new guest.
Ensure that the serving trays, utensils, and other accessories are clean.
Taking orders from room service and following up the orders to make sure they are delivered on time.
Cashiering is also my task .
i had a full training programme in century park hotel in all the hotel's departments
starting from food and beverage service
to cost control
then i have moved to culinary art department
hot and cold kitchen and pastry kitchen.
Then i have moved to front office department
reception then to concierge then to Housekeeping department.
Then i have moved to Accounting then to Human resources department .
Receiving customers and welcoming customers.
