Duties and Responsibilities
1- Monitor and coordinate hospital-wide the preparation, maintenance and updating of job descriptions by the responsible managers. 
2- Assist managers to clarify and improve job design, career ladders, generic functions, position qualifications and other aspects of organization structures. 
3- Assist department heads with the development of their organization and staffing level. 
4- Develop and write job descriptions from interviews with position incumbents, questionnaires, observations of work and discussions with supervisors. 
5- Review position qualifications and licensure requirements for compliance with Kingdom and Hospital guidelines. 
6- Analyze positions relative to both internal and external factors to ensure proper placement in the grade structure. 
7- Monitor and coordinate the preparation, maintenance and updating job salaries within the hospital. 
8- Review salaries, grades, salary tables and other benefits. 
9- Oversee staff salary program; ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels necessary to attract and retain qualified staff. 
10- Keep abreast of global and national pay review and advise hospital of same. 
11- Design, implement and manage competency profiles for all trades within the Hospital. 
12- Source and manage market intelligence for remuneration practices to ensure RMH asserts itself in a leading edge role. 
13- Research, plan and manage if appropriate, the introduction of innovative performance related pay for identified employees. 
14- Develop and implement salary administration plans and programmes. 
15- Review and recommend cost effective improvement relating to reward and incentive strategies. 
16- Review current working practices to ensure maximum effectiveness at all times. 
17- Ensure the recruitment and retention policies and procedures are appropriate and reflect the hospital aim. Advise on same and recommend alternative strategies if appropriate.
