• Actively participate in the Institutes English Language Teaching Delivery team, focusing on
the Trainee Learning Journey to prepare students for local industry.
• Deliver the Integrated English Language component of the Diploma program for technical
pathways in accordance with curriculum content and conduct required program
assessments.
• Teach according to established schemes of work and available teaching resources,
developing and personalizing lesson plans that ensure appropriate pacing and realistic class
learning.
• Provide training resources that support soft skills and English language development
through diverse teaching activities that accommodate various learning styles.
• Resource Development
• Contribute to the development and organization of new teaching resources, advising on
their development within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with English and Engineering teams, Quality Coordinators, and other
stakeholders to support a comprehensive approach to curriculum delivery.
• Engage in the Train the Trainer continuous professional development (CPD) program,
attending sessions to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within EWA.
• Support Trainee Affairs in maintaining accurate records of trainee attendance,
assessments, and achievements as part of the Institute Quality Assurance processes.

• Maintain positive rapport with all trainees and create a positive learning environment.
• Enforce the trainee management and disciplinary policies of the Institute.
• Act as an advisor outside of class to support trainees and faculty.
• Perform clerical duties as required, relating to textbooks, instructional supplies, trainee
reports and records, attendance reports, etc.
• Participate in curriculum development and planning with other instructors and the
Academic Unit Head.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Management related to the operations of the
training institute.

• Design lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and student needs.
• Create or adapt teaching materials, including worksheets, presentations, and activities.
• Develop quizzes, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress.
• Deliver engaging lessons in grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Encourage class participation through discussions, group work, and interactive activities.
• Manage student behavior effectively and handle any classroom disruptions.
• Track student progress and identify areas where additional support is needed.
• Utilize educational software and online resources to supplement lessons.
