Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for preparing the production and allocation plan, developing production schedule, allocation system and managing plant inventory, in this role, affiliate planner will coordinate the process of production plan with sales, marketing, logistics, plant and SABIC overseas offices.
•Support all discussions regarding proposed supply/demand scenario.
•Optimize inventory levels globally to meet customer service levels under consideration of the agreed inventory target.
•Monitor the generation of global stock transfer orders for warehouses replenishment and shipped-to-forecast deliveries.
•Update the quota which distributes the allocation among the affiliates to control and maintain the inventory.
•Regional and Global S&OP process
•Lead the calculation of target inventory level for each location and material based on applicable replenishment lead times and service levels.
•Monitor the inventory level among the affiliates and global WHs and keep it in the target level.
•During Unplanned Shutdown, Lead the analysis to calculate the impacted volume and affected orders, Generate alternative scenario to cover the shortages, reschedule the impacted orders.
•Review annual production and inventory plan by material and Affiliate
•analysis and follow up regarding supply chain related non-technical customer complaints
•Review the on time lifting report and follow up with concerned parties to improve the performance to keep customer goodwill.
•Keep the safety stock at the target level to fulfill the customer requirements in case of any shutdown
•Reviw of all new or anticipated programs SOW (Statement of Work) and determine material system to be used
•Provide input to Program Manager of material department requairements
•Establish and maintain stock level for all consumables
•Determine attrition stock levels and reports on attrition stock status in project meetings
•Coordinates with material, receiving section to ensure the the material received properly, critical items are handled on priority basis and report the shortages if any.
•Coordinate with Quality department for material discrepancies concern
•Coordinate with store personnel to expedite the material receipt process and to ensure the material issuance is in accordance with pick list or master production schedule
