ensuring availability, achieving sales growth, increasing profitability, brand development / increasing brand value,
and strategic buying across Foodservice and Retail sectors.
• Increased annual sales in Seafood Category from (2017) KWD 920k to (2020) KWD 2.5m
• Increased Category gross profit margin % from 13% (2017) to 20% (2020)
• Doubled the product portfolio size in 3 years.
• Launched an in-house brand (Ocean’s Pride) from infancy, now well established in Kuwait, delivering equity
• Succeeded in entering Ocean’s Pride into the Kuwait Govt Food Ration Basket program (4 SKU’s)
• Signed exclusivity agreements with a top Norwegian Salmon supplier covering Kuwait and KSA
• Established strict quality parameters when procuring, and introduced quality inspections upon goods
arrival to Alyasra warehouse, with written guidelines to follow.

● Responsible for all stages of business; prospecting and initial contact, negotiation and execution
of purchase and sales, ensuring flawless documentation, and overseeing completion of contract.
● Independently generated leads across 13 countries, compiled lists of key contacts and generated sales.
• Risk assessed new clients/suppliers, and controlled the credit line of both customers and suppliers.
● Represented Marubeni on business trips to prospective clients and over 9 major global trade fairs.
