Responsible for the Field Services Management and Quality Control Management for the Power Systems, Substations Department at Dubai and Northern Emirates. My activities include but not limited to,
 Develop goals and objectives for the field Services organization.
 Ensure suitably skilled and qualified equipment supervisors are available for all sites.
 Ensure suitably trained and qualified lead commissioning and commissioning engineers are employed or hired to meet the commissioning requirements for all sites.
 Effectively engage and manage commissioning Sub-contractors as required for all Sites.
 Share Power systems Substation Vision to ensure clear understanding and behaviors’ across the Field services team.
 Provide leadership and guidance to align values across the team
 Drive enhanced safety performance across the team in order to implement a robust QHSE regime aligned with the ABB UAE and Group Policy - to provide a safe place for people to work
 Monitor projects to maintain project performance and deliverables against budget in the area of responsibility.
 In conjunction with Operation Managers deploy resources to close out “snags” to attain PAC/FAC in the shortest possible time.
 Manage the development and maintenance of the field service equipment register to ensure adequate testing equipment is available for sites as required.
 Provide direction in the setting of delivery strategies in order to establish and execute field services strategy.
 Drive and lead change initiatives for continuous improvement in the area of responsibility.
 Drive a culture of continuous improvement with particular emphasis on business process/procedures/OTD and COPQ initiatives.
 Manage resources to facilitate the closure of projects on time and obtaining of PAC/ FAC in the shortest possible time.
 Plan, develop, arrange resources as required by the projects in time and manage within the cost budgets of each project

The ASU consisting of two trains was erected and commissioned by Air Products Inc. Involved in the Testing of SIEMENS and AREVA protection relays, 6.6KV and 400V switch gears Auto transfer schemes, Transfomers and Busbar Protections etc. Fluent in DIGSI 4.5, MICOM S1 V2.11, COURIER and PSL Editor protection relay softwares. Also fluent in updating schedule in Primavera Project Planner(P3)
