Business Development:
• Exploring new products & customers for business development
• Responsible for introducing product to customer, explaining product specification, later seeking sample approval and convincing for first trial order till regular purchasing
• Developing export business of Sugar to Middle East and Far East Markets, and Mango export to Japan
Corporate Sales / Inside Sales:
• Formulating business plans & strategy for existing products and new business development
• Foods Section: monitoring export of Rice to African market and Sesame Seed to Japan market.
• Energy Section: Dealing with Coal, entailing taking order from customer and placing orders with supplier and making LC coordination with head office for import from Indonesia
• Chemicals Section (2007~2018): Was responsible for generating inquiries from customers and placing them with supplier for import or export; import items included Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) imported from Far East and export items included Ethanol, PE Chip & PET Resin which were exported from Pakistan to Far East market
• Petroleum Sections (2007~2018): Was responsible for participating in Naphtha tenders; in case of tender was awarded then making LC & logistics arrangements for export
• General Merchandise Section (2010~2016): Was looking after the import of Fluff Pulp from USA from Japan that is used in making of Diapers
Partners for Strategic Alliances:
• Responsible for identifying the reliable strategic partners in local industry on whom the company can invest, planning business proposal for client and proposing this business alliance to head office and local partners
Third-Party Purchase Function
• Looking after vendors of the company, managing all purchasing and procurement procedures as third party purchase manager
• Spearheading various activities, entailing meeting with customer’s production department, evaluating their monthly requirement, collaborating those requirements with suppliers, monthly order taking, price negotiations, follow-up of shipment details, L/C matters and coordination between suppliers and customers
• Accountable for taking orders from customers, price negotiations and coordinating shipping schedule
Import/Export Function
• Interacting with the customers for letter of credit, with freight forwarders, tender preparation for bidding and arranging bid bonds &performance bonds from bank
• Maintaining follow-up of shipment details with shipping agents and L/C matters between suppliers and customers
• Looking after, the Business Development; Corporate Sales / Inside Sales; Third-Party Purchase Function and Import/Export Function
• Responsible for Business Development and Import/Export Function
Spearheaded the administration and provided back-office support to Sales Department
•Made sure the smooth functioning of branch operations, management of cash collection & deposit, back office support to sales team, warehouse keeping, accounts, MIS, and Transport
