Managing the drafting and revision of Zain's contracts, special and strategic agreements, standard clauses, specific terms and conditions, MOUs, letters of intent, RFPs, etc. in coordination with related departments to ensure legality and adherence with Zain policies in addition to protecting its interests.
• Managing and directing the legal advisors’ work.
• Planning the department’s annual goals and key performance indicators.
• Representing Legal Department in the Bank's committees and projects’ steering committees.
• Shedding light on the legal risks that may face the Bank and offering solutions to face and mitigate them.
• Representing the Bank as part of the international litigation team.
- Providing legal advice and consultancy to the executive management and the Bank's branches around Saudi Arabia.
- Reviewing the Bank's contracts, internal policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that Bank's transactions are in line with domestic laws and regulations.
- Litigating before courts, Banking Disputes Committee, and Financial Instruments Disputes Committee.
- Coordinating with the Bank’s external lawyers.
- Drafting legal memorandums analyzing legal issues and recommending solutions to the executive management.
- Reviewing board’s resolutions.
- Negotiating settlements with the Bank’s clients.
- Conducting intakes: meeting with clients and writing up their legal problems into comprehensive memos
- Researching legal issues
- Providing legal advice and consultancy.
- Litigating group’s cases before Courts.
- Reviewing group’s contracts, internal policies, and procedures.
