Roll as a team leader of maintenance works carried out during my service with QEWC for the followings: -
• Gas turbine 13E2 ABB major shut down events
• Check the stator winding corona effected area take the Precaution & Stator winding resin injection.
• Turbain stator star connection area check by hypo test rotor
• GT rotor both side end ring remove and check the damper winding & replacing the end ring area insulated material.
• Brushless exciters dioeds and its related parts check if any abnormality. Repalce the new one.
• GT area fire protection system testing & preventive maintenance
• Attend the major shut down of GE frame 9fa GT.
Trouble shooting (smoke detector, flame detector, heat detector, over heat detector, ) combustion area gas protection.H2S, CH4,
GAS analyzer protection system trouble shooting and
Preventive maintenance work.
• During at shutdown work (jacking oil pump, power oil pump.
• Lube oil pump &its breaker module maintenance)
• Pulse Air Compressor Preventive Maintenance.
• TRANSFOMER SIDE MAJOR EVENT (HIGH VOLTAGE)
I attended the OLTC Maintenance work (after every five year it take out and diverting switch and check OLTC oil take necessary precaution) bucholz alarm, oil temperature gauge pressure relief valve cooling system transformer oil test oil leakage etc I will take care the good solution.
Every one-year battery banks discharcharged by resistive load and check the each cell voltage and related UPS panel Maintenance.
Breaker Maintenance event
220kv gas insulated substation (indoor)
If any gas (SF6) leakage it will refill by the proper instrument every major shutdown period check it moving part area.220kv CB, high speed earth swicth maintenance & trouble shooting.
11kv circuit breaker (SF6) contact resistance, OPEN CLOSING time test, check the flag relays (bucholz alarm, bucholz trip, SF6 low level alarm, SF6 too low level alarm, etc)
132kv oil CB - check the oil dielectric strength and its related PM
0.4kv air CB - check the protection take the necessary life long precaution. Fuel gas area moters & related electrical work.
15.75KV Main Generator Breaker Overhauling.
Keeping daily report
Each every maintenance work following log sheet and not down the complete details
Experience in commissioning and start-up
Actively involved in the plant extension and commissioning of the machines with startup.
Preparation of report for data
Preparation execution planing and shutdown
Turn around activities
Every coming annual major shutdown prepare this list and consumed items.
