• Manage, analyze, and monitor business performance and quality of a shipping business accommodating over a million shipments per year inbound & outbound.
• Identify, initiate, and drive operational performance improvements within country operations in order to achieve global standards of business excellence.
• Provide input into the development of services, applications, and projects in liaison with regional operations management of 80 regional countries.
• Monitor and report compliance to DHL global process and quality standards covering performance of 35 service centers and service points across the country. This also contributes to annual appraisal assessment results of operations management and staff.
• Initiate, implement appropriate training and awareness plans to support country operations’ staff and achieve highest levels of performance.
• Manage deployment of new operational applications including staff training, initial set-up, and post deployment administration.
• Participate in formulating, implementing Internal Audit annual plan.
• Conduct special investigations in cordination with Human Resources, Legal, and Security Departments, covering operational aspects of legal, security violations, Fraud, or business disputes
• Coordinate with external and corporate auditors in terms of follow-up on External and Corporate Audit reports.
• Plan and implement plans and audits targeting compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act \[USA\] and the Financial Security Act \[France\] stipulated by international stock exchange authorities.
• Work in coordination with CEO and Board of Directors in terms of monitoring and securing highest business control measures.
• Delegate and supervise work of two junior internal audit staff in implementing internal audit assignments.
