Reliability Assessment & Asset management:
• Performing plant reliability assessment at Gas Turbine Power plants to proactively support the improvement on reliability, availability, performance and output targets of generating plants.
• Performing vibration analysis & troubleshooting, root cause analysis, FMEA, trip analysis and reliability improvement for rotary machines along with providing recommendations to improve on trouble areas.

• Carried Plant Reliability Assessment at GE Gas Turbine Units customer plants to proactively support the improvement on reliability, availability, performance and output targets of generating plants.
• Gained exposure in GE Frame 6B, 7E, 7F, 9E & 9F units.
• Conducted reliability assessments for customers in Asia, Middle East & Africa region which involved carrying out trip & RCM analysis, FMEA, root cause analysis and provided recommendations to improve on trouble areas.
• Carried out Plant Assessments for Plant Rehabilitation scope identification on a number of Power Plants with GE gas turbines.
• Performed performance analysis and vibration diagnostics to address plant chronic issues for reliability improvement.
Rotating Equipment
• Maintenance of all types of rotating equipments observed in Power, Petrochemical and Fibre industries.
• Anchoring on-site installation & commissioning activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.
• Carrying out overhauling work of equipment, modifications, and major repairs to improve equipment efficiency by faultfinding; conducting performance trials of engineering equipment to establish standards before and after major repairs.
• Selection and review of rotary equipment and piping systems specifications for petrochemical & process industries.
Significant Highlights:
• Efficiently implemented Phase 1 of diagnostic system architecture.
• Successfully diagnosed and rectified chronic problem in centrifugal compressor.
• Established procedure and systems and developed training courses for technicians for routine vibration monitoring and analysis.
Significant Highlights:
• Developed real time remote monitoring system for turbo machines which resulted in business benefits of US$ 22MM in first year of implementation. Received a ‘Management Award’ for excellent contribution to business through technology innovation in 2003.
• Designed intelligent algorithms for real time implementation in controller for failure detection and prevention. Some of these algorithms are included in advanced controllers of new GE Steam Turbine Units.

• Significant contributions in granting:
o 5 Patents at USPTO on monitoring and diagnostics of turbo machines and other equipments.
