and Environment by promoting their awareness to HSE issues to create and maintain a culture that supports the Health, Safety & Environment movement sys Monitor and control implementation of all procedures related to the maintenance and effectiveness of safety, lifesaving and emergency equipment and inspect work activities and equipment to ensure correct operation and that procedures are implemented. Ensure that effective records are kept and updated for all equipment under his control,
Coordinate and participate in applying risk management techniques to identify and evaluate HSE hazards/risks, its facilities and work activities and recommend measures to Site Management on measures to reduce them.
Assist in Preparation of HAZIDs, HAZOPS, QRA and general risk assessments for the current work site.
Liaise and coordinate with HSE Department on Technical matters related to studying & commenting on engineering designs and drawings pertaining to modifications of plant, equipment, installations or projects works to ensure adherence to HSE rules, standards and codes of practice(CoP), during all phases of implementation on Site.
Coordinate, monitor, prepare agenda and follow-up the implementation of recommendations raised from the Site HSE committees, other HSE related meetings, and HSE audit surveys by third parties.
Develop training programs in HSE principles and practices, including practical exercises; develop and assess orientation programs aimed for promoting accident and fire prevention among personnel and supervise specific fire and emergency drills for site personnel.
Ensure that mandatory safety, environmental and inspection records are updated and available at all times for inspection by Company auditors Government inspectors and recognized agencies.
Prepare periodical activities reports, Co-ordinate environmental programs on Site.
To assist Management in fulfilling and implementation of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 standards.
To provide necessary safety statistical information to client and at Head Office.
To conduct periodical HSE audits based on contractual requirements of the project.
To conduct Job hazard analysis and risk assessment of hazardous process.
To conduct HSE training program on construction safety.
To guide and assist safety supervisors performance in respect to there role and responsibilities.
To check all the lifting equipments, as per statutory requirements.
To advice administration department for fulfillment of welfare facilities,
To conduct safety inspections as an auditor at various levels of an organization.
