for a complete project of 113 Km of sewage and
treated effluent rising mains, pumping station and one 56.2 MLD capacity of Sequential Batch Reactors (SBR)
sewage treatment plant at Al Dhakhira. The treatment plant consists of 4
Balancing Tanks, Granular Media filter, Filter water pumping station,
Ultra filter, Chlorination, Chlorine Contact Tank, Treated Sewage
Effluent (TSE) tank (110, 000 CUM), TSE Pumping Station (6 nos. of 292
lps x 285 Kw), Emergency Storage Tank (175, 000 CUM), Transfer
Pumping Stations (6 nos. of 350 lps x 350 Kw) and 113 km of Sewage
and (TSE) transmission main pipelines of 800/600/500 mm DI pipes.
Responsibility of the Resident Engineer is to assist post contract design
review to the design team, material approval of the equipment and
project supervision. A team of 17 members reporting to the Resident
Engineer. Conversant in the procedure of applying Road Opening (RO),
DC 1 and DC 2 procedures as applicable in Qatar.
This is a (QR 1.51 Billion) US$ 415 million project from Ashghal, Qatar. Responsibility here to direct engineers
of different disciplines, managing program, liason with different authorities, risk management, monitoring,
conducting review meetings, preparation of reports, contract and contract variation analysis, quality assurance
and quality control, assist preparation of method statement, technical evaluation and vendor data sheets etc.
Seven engineers and supervisors reporting and self is reporting to the PM, the project head.
NAME OF PROJECT: Al Amerat Water Transmission and Distribution Project, Muscat, Oman
And also for project management of other infrastructure (PAEW)
LOCATION: Muscat, Oman Year
for Project Management of a 48 Km long MS 1500/1400 mm dia.
pipes, two pumping stations (6 pumps of 450 lps each), clear water reservoirs,
electro-mechanical part including chlorination system, SCADA application for
Al Amerat water transmission and distribution system under PAEW. This is a
US$ 100 million project from PAEW, Muscat, Oman. Responsibility here to
direct engineers of different disciplines, managing program, liason with
different authorities, risk management, monitoring, conducting review
meetings, preparation of reports, contract and contract variation analysis,
quality assurance and quality control, assist preparation of method statement,
technical evaluation and vendor data sheets etc. Seven engineers and
supervisors reporting and self is reporting to the GM, the country head.
And also as a
analysis in line with the requirement of the financing agencies, obtaining social & environmental
clearances, detailed engineering, procurement, procurement in PPP model, monitoring of
implementation, administration and management of contracts, scrutiny and review of drawings and
documents, liaisoning with client, intermittent and completion report preparation (expertise in ADB
format and the formats being used in GCC countries).

social studies, overall project management system starting from inception,
feasibility, establishing procurement management systems in conformity with
ADB guidelines, tendering procedures, prequalification of civil works, and
preparing contractual documents for the project. Assist preparation of procurement and consultant recruitment
documents like TOR and RFP for IPPMS etc., Construction activity Monitoring, co-ordination with the Design
Supervision and Consultant (DSC) and various other agencies. Took active participation in procurement related
activities and provided adequate guidance for the procurement activities. Preparation of documents for quality
control for construction supervision. Actively involved with ADB Fact Finding Mission and Follow-up preparation
of Social safeguard and Initial Environmental Examination reports. Having exposure in drafting RFQ/RFP of
PPP projects in water, sanitation and solid waste management sectors.

engineers for 3 towns in Rajasthan. Worked as the technical head with equivalent power with the S.E. Advise
project management and implementation units on establishing procurement management systems in conformity
with ADB guidelines, including tendering procedures, prequalification of civil works, wherever necessary, and
preparing suitable contractual documents. Responsible for providing guidance in execution of projects on
municipal utility services such as Water Supply including intake works from Chambal river using river training,
Waste Water Management, Drainage, Solid Waste, slump development, roads & bridges, institutional
frameworks, assessment of up gradation needs, techno-economic, financial and environmental analysis of this
project in line with the ADB guidelines;
o Co-ordination with PMU/ PIU/line agencies and contractors; provide certificate, effective and
regular supervision for the works and ensure their quality and conformity with standards,
specifications and drawings prescribed in the contract;
o Assist in achievement of yearly physical and financial targets of the project and prepare work

Responsible to ensure implementation of the overall project management establishing procurement
management systems in conformity with ADB guidelines,
prequalification of civil works, and implementation contractual
documents for the project. Provide on the job training on procurement of
staff to familiarize them with ADB’s procurement, support in organizing
and conducting workshops and seminars on procurement. Review of
documents related to contracts, drawings and design, periodically
review of drawings and design status, to visit site finalizing layout and to

ADB and GOR.
