• Procurement & Logistics: Buyer of high-value proprietary auto components. In depth knowledge of procurement and receiving systems i.e. supplier development, RFP, RFQ, SA, PO, GR/GI, QA. Strategic sourcing initiative for vendor base localization and optimization. Liaison with mother-satellite plants and logistics service providers for factory logistics and warehousing
• MIS: Prepared plant level supply chain MIS including inventory reports, consumption gap analysis, VQR, TAT, end to end reconciliation reports, spend analytics, CR/PI analysis, spare parts demand planning and maintaining divisional BSC (Balanced Score-card)
• Planning: Under the framework of Integrated Capex Management, formulated possible capacity expansion scenarios (Greenfield as well as brown field), in combination with different levels of volume, flexibility and investment and prepared decision tree based on 3P (production preparation process) methodology. Devised outsourcing terms with 3rd party logistics service provider-delivered an alternative service outsourcing model (cost plus model changed to transactional billing) by linking level of service with incoming parts freight tonnage
