Manager Community Development - Education
Led the capacity building initiative for the governments Directorate of Education by providing leadership to the field staff to implement the school effectiveness approach in Government Primary Schools in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. By involving circle offices, contributed to the design and development of capacity building and community mobilization strategy for social inclusion, community engagement, and community driven priorities in the government run public schools. Liaised with the Directorate of Education FATA to identify measures and enhance school community partnership. Implemented the School Development Planning concept by involving the local community and advocated to amalgamate the process in the government’s annual development planning process.
Achievements
Contributed to the development and design of community mobilization and capacity building strategy for social inclusion, community engagement, community driven priorities, facilitated research and compiled and analyzed relevant social policy data.
Assisted the education section of the GIZ in the development of Education Sector Plan (ESP) for FATA by assisting in the focused group discussions in thematic working groups and circle offices representing FATA.
Prepared needs assessments and assisted in the analysis of gaps (across and within the education sector) for the development of capacity development strategy.
Provided solutions for the existing gaps, duplication and cross-cutting issues.
Development of indicators for the capacity development section in line with the program goal and objective for effective implementation.
Successfully collaborated and coordinated with the government counterpart to provide support to research, develop, and produce evidence-based strategies and activities to ensure community engagement and participation, and maximum outreach and impact on behavioral and social change.

Provided leadership and trained staff to influence 30000 community members to lead policy initiatives under the school community partnership benefiting 28000 students and 688 teachers in 246 schools in the conflict tribal regions of Pakistan.

Organized and facilitated trainings, pre and post training evaluations, graphical training reports to measure learning of the participants.

Ensured that the items for the shelter i.e. folding beds, blankets and other items are fully available and functional as per the Red Cross policy.

Influenced 74 key healthcare providers through promotional campaigns benefitting 2500 individuals via awareness messages regarding Red Cross assistance to local residents
