During my 6-month internship at WorldQuant, I undertook a diverse array of projects, totaling 8 in number, that spanned data analysis and predictive modeling. These projects encompassed tasks such as identifying regional variations in the Brazilian real estate market, predicting apartment prices in Buenos Aires, analyzing air quality data in Dar es Salaam through AR modeling, building damage classification in Kavrepalanchok utilizing logistic regression, tracking corporate bankruptcies in Poland, analyzing US family financial data from the Survey of Consumer Finances, improving completion rates for the admissions exam via A/B testing, and mastering data extraction from web APIs. internship provided hands-on experience in problem-solving, data manipulation, and effective communication of findings, amplifying my skills in the data science realm.
