At the moment I am working as Marketing Advisor with USAID- Funded Sustainable Health Outcomes Through Private Sector (SHOP-PLUS-Project) my basic responsibilities are
• Liaise with representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturing firms and Pakistan’s paediatric (PPA) and medical (PMA) associations to discuss and agree upon areas of collaboration in promoting prescription practices amongst private providers
• Develop provider awareness strategies in consultation with the pharmaceutical manufacturers and PPA/PMA and assist in organizing training programs.
• Support monitoring of relevant program indicators to evaluate effectiveness of program interventions
• Examine options for expanding current marketing efforts.
To seeks to harness the full potential of the private sector and catalyse public-private engagement to improve health outcomes in family planning, HIV and AIDS, maternal and child health, and other health areas, including ending preventable child and maternal deaths, an AIDS-free generation, and FP2020. The project improves the equity and quality of the total health system, accelerating progress toward universal health coverage.

Worked as Market Linkages / Private Sector Engagement Expert with USAID-The Agribusiness Project for the value chain of off-season vegetables, citrus fruits, meat, chili & bananas, grapes, seed potatoes, to build the capacities of poor and marginalized community farmers, well equip them with market based skills, in order to establish their own small & medium enterprises, link farmers directly with high-end markets for sustainable results. I have successfully linked various value chain farmers with chain super markets like METRO, HYPERSTAR, CARREFOUR, Pearl Continental Hotels, Imtiaz Chain Super store.
• Responsible for engaging the private sector and related institutions for the development of sustainable market linkages across beneficiary horticulture value chains
• Engaging and organizing small and medium size farming clusters through a community based approach aimed at enabling greater access to end markets
• Designing and delivering capacity building initiatives to the micro, small and medium size farming enterprises, including enterprise and entrepreneurship development training programs.
• As a Market Linkages Expert I worked with the Technical Teams (Value Chains) to identify market opportunities and works Agribusinesses, Farmer Organizations (Associations/ Agriculture Coop.) and traders (whole sellers, retailers and exporters) to enable them to capitalize on opportunities.
• Identified bottlenecks preventing the development of product specific or geographically based value chain. This included the identification of needed interventions within the value chain to overcome the obstacles preventing its development.
• Lead the work with ASF all Value Chain Teams in the arrangements of events / exhibitions to promote the establishment of market linkages and business expansion for women project beneficiaries.
• Assist private agribusinesses in the development and implementation of their marketing strategies to improve agribusinesses marketing performance.
• Facilitate linkages between key stakeholders of the agribusiness sector with farmers or farmer’s organizations. Develop market vertical and horizontal linkages; between farmers and other value chain actors.
• Capacity building of beneficiaries mostly women & Youth to set up their own enterprises.
• Provided inputs into A.S.F Pakistan deliverables including reports, work plans, and PMP regarding market linkages activities and progress.
