Being as Instrumentation lead, responsible for attending new service request project stage like FEED, and DEP, and to submit the Technical Proposal (TP) for the same. Consequently, engineering for the same for Brown as well as green field project.
Discuss with stakeholders in SABIC, to understand the scope, requirements of the project and provide clarity to project team at Head Office
Technical meetings with client, stakeholders to get approval, resolve technical queries.
Review of Instrumentation deliverables such as Technical Requisition, Instruments data sheets, loop drawings, location layout, Instrument index, I/O list, Interconnection diagram, Block Diagram, Cable and conduit schedule, cable tray routing, instrument hook ups drawings, Cause & Effect, Material takeoffs and Scope of Work, Control system and Network architecture, HAZOP participation,
Perform site visit at SABIC affiliates to collect site inputs, control system inputs and coordinate with Project team.

Preparation of Instrumentation deliverables such as Scope of work, P&ID, data sheets, loop diagram, JB wiring diagram, Instrument Index, I/O list, logic diagram, cable schedule, Bill of material, hookup drawing and System & Network Architecture diagram in respect to project requirements.
Prepare and execution of in-house Management of change (MOC).
Review of FEED and DEP as per Standard, procedure Project code and regulatory requirement submitted by contractors. Provide technical assistance to EPC Contractor during Engineering and execution
Carry out inspection and approval of the incoming materials.
Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Process Hazardous Analysis (PHA), Loop Test, Function Test, Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), walk-through, Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR).
Responsible for project completion documents like Mechanical Completion & Transfer of Care (MCTC), and Project Completion Verification (PCV).
Ensure that EPC Contractor deliverables are check and verified against the documents finalized preceding each project phase.

Supervise daily plant maintenance activities by supporting troubleshooting, repair & services, calibration of field instruments and control systems in the complex.
Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipment’s through application of trouble shooting tools.
Control systems, DCS, PLC, ESD, VFD, F&G, Compressors /Pumps, ESP control and field instruments maintenance and troubleshooting which includes preventive maintenance.
Ensuring compliance to all the relevant safety, health, quality & environmental management procedures and controls and delivering high quality maintenance services in the plant.
Review SOE (sequence of event), Trend, alarms during plant trip or upset and assist in plant startup activities by supporting field and control room activities.
Override trip bit in ESD system, during maintenance of critical equipment’s by preparing ‘Temporary trip override form’ and normalize trip bit after job completion.
Servicing & Calibration also online trouble shooting of various types and make of Fisher, Samson, Masoneilan valve, Actuator, solenoid valve, relay, limit switch, proximity switch, vibration sensor, pressure transmitter, flow transmitter, level transmitter, radar tank gauging, mass flow meter, current to pressure converter, pressure gauge temperature indicator, Control valves Motor Operated Valve (MOV).
Calibration and Troubleshooting of Samson Valve, Siemens, Azbil and Metso Positioner and HART Control Valves Positioner DVC 6010, DVC-6200 using Masibus, 375/475 HART Communicator.
Review of Instruments data sheets, loop drawings, location layouts, Instrument index, I/O list, cable termination schedule, Cable and conduit layout, instrument hook ups drawings and other instrumentation related documents and drawings.
Supervision for Installation & Commissioning of various Process Automation and Control Cabinets of DCS, ESD, VMS, Fire and Gas System and field instruments. Junction boxes, cable trays/conduit, cable ducts, impulse tube, Smoke detector, Heat detectors, Gas detectors, Sound & Beacon, cable laying.
Carry out inspection and approval of the incoming materials.
Coordinate Quality procedures to construction department, Project management and client Inspectors and Corrective actions for client inspection comments/punch list

Monitoring coordination and supervision for installation of filed instruments, Commissioning of various, Process Automation and Control Cabinets of DCS, ESD, F&G, junction boxes, cable trays, cables (Instrument, fiber optic cable Modbus and Ethernet cable), conduits, impulse pipes, Smoke detector, Heat detectors, Gas detectors, Sound & Beacon, cable laying.
Supervision for calibration of field instruments like pressure, level, flow, temperature transmitters, control valves on off valves, pressure, level, flow switches.
Maintenance of metering skid instruments, Supervisory and Data Acquisition for primary and each individual customer metering skid like Hourly summary report, Active alarm summary, Calibration curve report, and Delivery Receipt ticket.
Installation, Calibration Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Testing of numerous Process control equipment’s such as Temperature, Flow, Level and Pressure Transmitters, Control Valves, Sensors & Gauges.
