Worked as a Lead contract Engineer and managed the complete Erection of Textile Stenter and Printing machine and upgraded the Electrical control panel of both machines by including PLC for customized control and also added Human machine interface for operator to operate machine. Textile Stenter machine control panel designed with PLC control system and programmed it to enhance its safety precautions and complete control of machine established using HMI to make its operating and monitoring system more easy. For Textile Ichinose Printing machine I added Mitsubishi and Delta PLC, basic control and monitoring of machine programmed in Mitsubishi PLC and also installed Two 11KW Servo motors to set positioning repeat for fabric printing and for positioning control of servo motors added Delta Positioning PLC and designed whole machine operating and monitoring system using HMI.
The purpose of this project is to increase the stroke steps of printing units of flatbed printing machine for fine printing of different design on Towel fabric and this process is controlled by PLC. Some of my job responsibilities were:
Electrical control panel wiring, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
Programmed the PLC for forward/reverse movement of the printing units and increased number of printing stroke
The project involves the installation & commissioning of Siemens S7-300 PLC and distributed peripherals on textile Stentor machine. For this purpose Siemens CPU 315-2DP communicates through Profibus with Siemens distributed peripherals ET200L & ET200B and controls this machine with SCADA system (Siemens WinCC Flexible). Some of my job responsibilities were:
Designed distributed control system with Siemens distributed peripherals and controlled them through Profibus communication with the CPU
S7-300 PLC programming to control the speed of motors and synchronized them using feedback signals from the inverters and interlocking of the fans with burners to maintain the temperature of machine
Humidity Sensor to maintain the humidity inside the machine and control the speed of exhaust fan using feedback signal from the sensor
Control & Monitoring of the machine through SCADA system which involves automatic & manual modes, machine on/off, chambers motors & burner control, machine width control, monitoring of the temperature, humidity, circuit breakers, safety switches, emergency stop and alarm control
The goal of the project is to control the sand mixture using PLC and HMI communication. In this process the specific amount of sand mixes with fixed ratios of chemicals resin & hardener and this process is controlled by F1, F2, F3 and custom modes which are designed on HMI. This sand is used to mold different industrial parts. Some of my job responsibilities were:
-The specific amount of sand controlled by feedback signal from the automated butterfly valve
-The relative ratios of chemicals controlled by feedback signals from stepper motors which operates the opening & closing of dosing pumps valve, then chemicals are dosed in the sand by pumps
-HMI communication to control the process using F1, F2, F3 and Custom modes
-Automated control of the mixer motor which mixes the sand, air and chemicals
Working on a Project (Chemical Process Plant) with the team of three persons, some of my job responsibilities are:
-Design a monitoring system for process plant, tagging and control of instruments with SCADA system
-PIDs Control loop programming using PLCs for control valve and feedback system
-Gained hands-on experience in control instruments like flow meters, pressure, temperature & level transmitters, pressure & level switches, and on-off control valve.
During my degree program i gained a well knowledge about Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electric Machines, Wireless Communication & Electrical Circuits.
