Responsibilities include the following

 Manage all construction activities, including communication, resources acquisition, risks assessment, quality and procurement.
 Coordinate with design and procurement team and ensure their relevant plans are aligned with project targeted completion dates.
 Develop project management plan, prepare detailed budget estimates and schedules and ensure all the works are completed on time, within allocated budget and in compliance to the client requirements.
 Analyze projects execution issues and ensure corrective actions and necessary controls are initiated and implemented.
 Manage and monitor projects cash flow projections, report on, progress, variances and forecasting of future needs and ensure all financial records are up to date.
 Implement and maintain effective project communication and ensure adequate flow of information.
 Perform project closeout walk throughs with the client and verify that all project close out documents and punch list items are completed.

Major projects involved in:
• Rehabilitation and upgrade of Treatment plant at Al Hayer, Wadi Al Flaie and Al Quoa (3 Nos.) - UAE
• Rehabilitation and upgrade of Sharjah Main Treatment Plant - UAE

• Review and comment on all of contractor mechanical submissions inclusive of but not limited to design including IFCs, PQDs, shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, technical data sheet and as built records

• Undertake project site management and inspection of all mechanical works and health & safety.

• Supervise site construction, testing, commissioning and handing over of the project.

• Provide engineering and technical supports to all of the Mechanical work groups at site.

• Attending all progress and Authorities meetings and prepare draft minutes.

Duties involved the following projects:
TThe project involves construction of Firefighting, ventilations & Plumbing systems for five storey underground car park of 2000 cars capacity, Two KM Road Tunnel six Nos. Substations. and Light Rail Transit Stations (LRT Metro), in addition to buried infrastructure utilities comprises network of (Potable/Fire Network, Irrigation, Chilled Water and Gas Networks and 120lit/s@33m Storm Water Pumping Station and 105lit/s@45m Sewerage Pumping Station, serving commercial Centers and residential Buildings at Lusial City (Qatar)

• Coordination with clients the final projects design, preparation of tender documents including general requirements, general technical and particular requirement, scope of supplies, bill of quantities and tender drawings

• Review contractors’ technical proposals, drawings, submittals and recommend for the clients all necessary approvals in accordance with the contract requirements.

• Assess contractor performance, progress of work, site safety matters, and provide comments and recommendations for planning and scheduling of all Contract activities.

• Supervise site construction, testing, commissioning and handing over of the project.

• Prepare monthly progress reports, minutes of meetings and all correspondence letters to contractors.

Duties involved the following projects:
The Project involves upgrading of storm water pump stations, Underground Car Parking, Tunnels and Subways in Al Ain city and its region, including the following
1. Assets survey, Data Analysis including hydraulic assessment of existing pumping and Ventilation systems.

2. Installation of New Pumping system including firefighting & drainage (20 Nos.)

3. Installation of new Ventilation system (15 Nos.)

4. Installation of new Form4 control panels (12Nos.).

5. Installation of new SCADA & Surveillance system
(23 Nos. RTUs & 25 CCTVs).

• Review of mechanical shop drawings, method statements and technical submittals.
• Supervise, check and monitor the work progress, including material delivered on site, installation, safety matters and maintain records of all work carried out.
• Prepare M&E monthly progress reports, minutes of meetings and all draft letters to Client and Contractors.
• Evaluate all trial operation and functioning tests, and prepare outstanding list at the end of the projects.
• Review all as-built records including drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.

I was involved with Contract M44/1 (Al Ain City) for the refurbishment and upgrading of the sewerage pump stations and STPs at remote areas.

Responsibilities include the following

• Handling upgrading of mechanical works in different pump stations and STPs, work includes mechanical material submittals & shop drawings preparation.

• Work program supervision, resources management and budget monitoring.
Coordinating and attending meetings with consultant, client and subcontractors.

• Technical and commercial evaluations of vendors’ offers.

• Provide technical information to the management on scope of work and cost estimate of mechanical works for the programmed projects.

• Preparation of detailed schedule for mechanical activities including material procurement, method statements; report and document projects activities and safety matters on sites.

Duties involved the following projects:

1. Upgrading of Al Ain Sewerage Pump Stations
The project involved refurbishment and upgrading of 23 Nos. sewerage pump stations and include the following works
1.1 Replacement of pumps that ranged between 50 lit/sec - 160 lit/sec working at different heads.
1.2 Replacement of pipe works at pump station and valves Chambers.
1.3 Removal of old ventilation system and installation new exhaust and supply fan.
1.4 Installation of new portable water system (23 Nos. Domestic Water pumps with complete stainless steel piping system).
1.5 Replacement of odour control system (5 Nos. Scrubber sets).

• Review and study all contractor mechanical submissions inclusive of but not limited to shop drawings, technical submittals, material submissions.
• Confirm and follow up implementation of installations method statements according to granted approvals.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, including As Built drawings, commissioning data and O&M documentation.
• Prepare M&E monthly progress reports, minutes of meetings and all draft letters to Client and Contractors.
• Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions.
• Attend site acceptance tests (SAT) and finally involve in the commissioning and hand over to Clients.

Duties involved the following projects
Contract 716M involved the construction of News Sewerage lifting station capacity of 8.56 Ltr/sec at 14m head.
Contract 717M involved the construction of News Sewerage lifting station capacity of 25 Ltr/sec at 23.5m head, included also 150 mm Dia. DI pipes and fittings for 4 Nos. valves chambers along the pumping main.
Contract 718M involved the construction of 2 Nos. News Sewerage Pump Stations
capacity of 90 Ltr/sec at 26m head and 47 Ltr/sec at 43m head, included also 300 & 200 mm Dia. DI pipes and fittings for 19 Nos. valves chambers along the pumping mains.
Contract 713M involved the construction of News Sewerage Main Pump Station capacity of 482 Ltr/sec at 52m head.
Contract 751M involved the construction of New Sewerage Pump Station capacity of 12 Ltr/sec at 46m head, included also 200 mm Dia. DI pipes and fittings for 13 Nos. valves chambers along the pumping main.

• Supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance works of all mechanical equipment.

• Actively involved in the evaluation of operation data and equipment performance during crop season.

• Participates in the planning and implementation of all systems modifications, expansion and installations.

• Involved in the preparation of preliminary plans for the Off-Season Overhauling program.

• Trouble shoot plant mechanical problems and attend all breakdowns.

• Coordinate between maintenance section and fabrication, machine and pump work shop during both crop and off season.

• Coordinate with operating personnel for the preparation of weekly shutdown repair list.

• Condition monitoring, failure analysis, overhauls of different rotating equipment including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, blowers and gearboxes.
