Manage the product supply operations from middle east region

Owning the S&OP process for one of Pepsi Cola bottlers to ensure the balance between supply and demand along the supply chain network from suppliers of raw materials till the delivery of finished goods. Manage a team of 10 persons and inventory of SAR 200MM. leading different projects related to innovations and cost saving initiatives.

• Introduced light weight packaging materials to generate an annual savings of SAR 5.0MM.
• Reduced overall inventory value by 15% to improve cash flow and improved customer service level to 98%.
• Reduced transportation cost 8% by increasing pallet density and truck utilization.
• Established the innovation delivery function, define process, hiring a manager, provide training, build a cross-functional team, and provide frequent update to top management.

Managed one of the oldest Pepsi Cola plant in the region for 3 years, 5 production lines produce all sizes of PET bottles, Returnable & non-returnable glass bottles and Bag-in-Box post mix products. Led a team of more than 300 persons in Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Logistics in a very challenging location in the city center of Jeddah.

• Improved the safety conditions in this plant, policies and procedures, working environment and the use of PPEs.
• Maintained the overall performance in efficiency and productivity, compliance with ISO 22000 standard and AIBI audit results.
• Improved the loading process in the warehouse for export customer and introduced the labour incentive scheme for manual loading in the season.

In 3 years I established the MRP department in SIPCO in three plants, manage the inbound logistics operations and re-design the layout of the raw materials warehouses, then I was promoted to Product availability manager. Responsible of the distribution of finished goods, inventory management and production scheduling for 3 plants and 18 distribution centers of Pepsi Cola bottler in the western region of Saudi Arabia.

• Implemented PepsiCo M&W requirements of each stage and implemented 5S in the RM warehouses.
• Improved the daily shipping compliance of primary transportation to 90%.
• Reduced the value of obsolete raw materials by 30%.
• Established the inventory management system of both raw materials and finished goods to maximize inventory turnover, improve product freshness, and maximize plant efficiency.

- Establishing the sales distribution network all over Sudan through 7 regional distributors.
- Leading the Sales & Operations planning process for Sudan business unit along with budget control, cash flow and full ownership on the P&L for paints and tin cans factory.
- Manage both local and international purchases, customs clearance and logistics operations.

- Studying the demand/supply characteristics of Sudan Market, Labor skills, logistics infrastructure, cost structure and the sourcing matrix of raw materials.
- Manage the startup of Sudan project as per the investment low and other regulations that includes Branch registration in all government departments and banks, purchasing lands and rent buildings, constructions and installation of equipment.
- Find contractors, suppliers, customers and service providers, Import machinery, customs clearance and exemption.
- Manage production startup and employ the required staff.
