Responsible of overall financial and accounting function of the company including Annual Budgets, Management Accounts and Cash flow in compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) & International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Standards and Central Bank Reporting (online).

Stock Valuation, Trading in Equity Market, Index and Forex Market.

My duties and responsibilities can be summarizing as follows:

● Responsible of accounting functions, Supervised a team of 6 accountants and auditing branches on monthly basis.
● Preparing Consolidated Management Accounts and Stand Alone Financials on Monthly basis in compliance with IAS 27 & IFRS 3.
● Preparing monthly CBK reports, Contains risk management, Investment portfolio, finance portfolio, leasing portfolio, Tangible & Intangible assets, Foreign Currency & Local Currency at bank.
● Generating cash flow, Projecting Yearly budget and comparing for variance, monitoring analyzing and implementing new cost center, business / accounting / sales dimensions, product calculations etc.
● Segment Reporting (by product) and Cost Center & Cost Unit Profitability and Investment portfolio Report.
● Devised forms and prepares manuals required to guide activities of book keeping and clerical personnel, who post data and keep records.
● Preparing and compiling monthly financial statements, expenditure analysis, and a budget control to ensure transparency within departments.
● Sated up classification of accounts and organizes accounting procedures and implementation of policies and machine methods support
● verifying Islamic Finance Receivable, such as Murabaha (Sale), Musawama (Sale), and Ijarah (Leasing) as per IAS 17 & recognition of deferred profit and apportioning monthly profit as per IRR. And Borrowing Cost expense (interest) apportioning monthly expense as per IRR and in compliance with IAS 23.
● Doing monthly reporting and analyses of all costs, reconciliation of inventory accounts and fixed assets.
● Verification and review all vouchers entries (receipts, payments & journal vouchers), bank reconciliation, provisions on debtors, payroll, leave & indemnity accrual and disbursements.
● Assess financial reporting systems, accounting, procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures
● Valuation of Stock & Assessing fair value of quoted and unquoted shares on monthly basis and book unrealized gain / losses as per IAS 39 & IFRS 7. Classifying Investment in Associates or subsidiary as per Equity / Cost Method in line with IAS 28.
● Verifying intangible assets amortization and fair value as per IAS 38.
● Verification of fixed assets, Fleet movement report and evaluating Assets fair value as per IAS 16 and booking impairment / excess over market value on yearly basis as per IAS 36. Classifying Asset held for sale as per IFRS 5.
● Preparing Annual Zakat declaration and complying with local regulations, IAS & IFRS standards.

My duties and responsibilities

Handling receivables, payables, payroll, Accruals, depreciation and amortization, Bank Reconciliation, Building occupancy rate and expected revenue, Maintaining Asset Register and correspondence.

Preparing Invoices and stock returns, Handling receivables, payables, payroll, Accruals, depreciation and amortization, Bank Reconciliation, Building occupancy rate and expected revenue, Maintaining Asset Register and correspondence.
