1. Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in the procurement process.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
2. Vendor Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors/suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors/suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing performance.

3. Procurement Process:
• Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Monitor procurement activities, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
4. Negotiation and Contract Management:
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors/suppliers, ensuring value for money.
• Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contract performance, manage renewals, and address any contractual disputes.
5. Risk Management and Compliance:
• Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier failures.
• Ensure compliance with procurement laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing purposes.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training and development opportunities.
7. Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the procurement function.
• Implement best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage the entire process in the planning of commodities procurement
and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution,
customs clearance, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid
costly delays and lost opportunities.
Ensure effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of
commodities using the most appropriate procurement procedures.
Be responsible for introducing process improvements in the supply chain
and identify new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and
service delivery.

prices paid for commodities are in line with local market prices.
Prepare service delivery contracts, leases and purchase orders for all
acquisition needs.

Job Profile
• Ensure Materials are procured well within budget and delivered on a timely
basis to meet work requirement.
• Sourcing of new and Alternate vendors perpetually
• Discourage uniform bidding and endeavour to obtain as full and open compe
tition as possible on all purchases with strong negotiations to establish and
rationalize key supplier agreements.
• Maintaining Pricing file, comparison list, vendors file and such other records
as are needed for the efficient operation of the purchasing function.
• Liaise with Supplier issues and perform supplier evolution on a quarterly
basis.
• Analysis Market and delivery conditions to determine present and future
• Material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
• Assigning Planogram for the according to the stores category.
