Major Projects

• 30 Bay Street - new 54 story commercial office space tower. 4000TR cooling and 30, 000MBH heating plant capacity. Major systems designed included the main cooling and heating plant, mechanical floor layouts & hydronic distribution systems, building ventilation and distribution system, plumbing and fire protection systems. Main features included heat recovery chillers, pressure break systems for hydronic distribution risers, non-condensing fan coil units and ventilation system designed for occupant latent load in addition to compliance with ASHRAE 62.
• 55 Charles - new 50 story residential tower. 800TR cooling capacity and 15000MBH heating capacity. Major systems designed included heating and cooling plant, hydronic distribution systems, domestic hot and cold water pant and distribution system, fire protection system and suite HVAC layouts.
• Center for indigenous community - I developed mechanical design concept and layouts for budgeting and planning of this 12000sft community center. Mechanical heating and cooling was based on VRF system.
• 900 Bay Street - Macdonald Block Redevelopment Project - This was a major renovation project for the existing building which has many heritage attributes. This being a pursuit project, involved many stake holders. I represented the mechanical consultant team during pursuit stage and later on during schematics design development phase. Main features included use of heat recovery chillers, condensing boilers, chilled beams and non-condensing fan coil units and ventilation system designed to cater occupant latent load and in addition to compliance with ASHRAE 62.
