A. IMPORT LOGISTICS:
Verification and validation offreight, and choosing the best offer (according to DG,
PURCHASING, etc. requests).
Obtaining the necessary prior authorisations for each import file: ONML (National Office of
Legal Metrology), ONDA (National Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Office), and Letter of
Commitment for Dangerous Goods.
Retrieval offile folders from various airlines.
Retrieval of original BLs in the case of destination printing from various shipping companies.
After receiving the import file, a general verification ofthe documentation.
Verification and ensuring customs compliance of each import file.
Planning and coordination oftransit activities with the implementation of customs
clearance file processing procedures with various freight forwarders.
Management of relationships with external stakeholders: customs services, fraud services,
port administrations, aviation administrations, and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and
Industry.
Implementation of cost avoidance strategies (storage, demurrage, mobilisation).
Manage import operations with various freight forwarders until the merchandise is received
on-site as quickly as possible.
Overall monitoring with KPI dashboards that gather data from various sources to display
performance and details of import files. (Weekly dashboard of import files, dashboard for
tracking releases, dashboard for payment tracking).
Track payments from freight forwarders, oversee invoicing, and ensure compliance with the
payment status.
Follow up on payments from freight forwarders with the accounting department.
Monitor the various daily and monthly payments (with shipping companies and airlines).
Verification of duties and taxes before preparing payment requests.
Preparation and tracking of payment requests with various payment methods: certified
cheque, regular cheque, and bank transfer.
Organise the delivery of imported merchandise from the PORT/AIRPORT to the various
MERINAL sites.
Ifthere are any problems with the finance department, get in touch with the claimants
again.
B. EXPORT LOGISTICS:
Communicate freight deposits to the Export Sales department.
After receiving the export file, a general verification of the documentation.
Establish the shipping letter.
Establish the export identification sheets with all the package information.
Coordinates with the PF service for the transmission of identification sheets
Transmission of the file to the freight forwarder.
Scheduling with the freight forwarder the pickup of the order intended for export.
Exportation of samples for analysis related to regulatory services.
Track the export until it arrives at its destination.
