• Leading overall employee relations strategies and HR service functions including department restructuring, payroll, risk and controls, and preparing audits compliant with internal company policies and Qatari labour laws.
• Managing disciplinary hearings, guiding employees through the process, coordinating with Group Fraud, Internal Audit and Legal on case management, and liaising with the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General.
• Reduced benefits costs by 75% over a 10 year period through meticulous recordkeeping, legal compliance, and fraud investigations to ensure the company did not pay for benefits in cases where employees were ineligible.
• Approving 1000+ employment offers, global mobility transfers, retirements, and redundancy packages annually.
• Leading all HR initiatives by developing clear people strategies, providing management with expertise and guidance on all HR related issues, and expert guidance on organisational growth, design and change initiatives.
• Developed hospital's first-ever standardised disciplinary procedures and tracking system for physicians, nurses and workers that protected the hospital from legal risk and ensured consistent and fair disciplinary procedures.
• Reduced recruitment costs by 85% by reducing reliance on healthcare recruitment agencies and bringing outsourced recruiting functions in-house, which reduced billable hours from 320 to less than 45 per month.
