• Collate, prepare and report: cash flow forecast, budgets, accounts reconciliation, commentaries and financial statements.
• Undertake strategic analysis and assist in strategic planning.
• Assist/produce long-term business plans.
• Control assets, income, cash flow and expenditure.
• Designated compliance officer of the business unit in Qatar: conduct compliance seminar and tests, risks assessment in line with Voith Group directives, policies and procedure, including risk management - arrange necessary business insurance and bank guarantees.
• Develop and manage financial system, accounting procedures and related internal controls in line with Group directive, policies and procedures.
• Employees payroll remittance, benefit accruals and settlements.
• Project/job cost analysis to identify cost-reduction opportunities with recommendation to management.
• Arrange new sources of funds to finance WP, CAPEX, or debt payment.
• Assist and coordinate with external auditors during fiscal year-end review/audit.
• Ownership and maintenance of master database of company’s ERP system - Microsoft Dynamic Navision.
• Develop external relationship with appropriate contacts - bankers, vendors, solicitors, legal adviser and statutory organizations.
• Overall IT administration of the business unit in Qatar.
• Supervision of accounting staff and the overall accounting and finance activities.
• Reporting directly to CFO of Voith Germany.
