Maintaining and updating Syspro / SAP inventory pricing;
• Capturing of approved customer prices for Tier 1 supplier on issued of
PO
• The above are actioned quarterly based on forex agreement
• The above are actioned on ECR’s
• Service parts, when PO’s are issued.
• Sample parts / prototype parts on issued of PO’s
• The above function are completed for 6 motor manufacturers in SA
Maintaining costing through commercials:
• Ensuring Tier 2 supplier prices are captured accurately and pushed
forward to OEM, taking into account exworks (A-price), packaging,
landed costs, value added / pre-logistics (depending on negotiation).
• Comparison of directed suppliers vs customer approved, should
discrepancies flagged, investigation to resolve issues.
• Issue the approved piece price to internal Purchasing to complete
supplier contracts.
Implementation and capturing of foreign exchange rate for each quarter and
customer:
• This function is to request approved forex from customers to update
or implement /capture into costing /pricing models.
• The above is complete on a quarterly basis, per forex agreement in
place.
Implementation and capturing of price increase due to increase in material and
labour costs;
• Communication price change to customer / internal purchasing
• Updating costing /pricing models based on confirmation or agreement
from customer for Tier 2 supplier.
Compilation of monthly reconciliations to ensure correct payments from
customers;
• Weekly or monthly comparisons are done to ensure that customers
are paying correct price, should discrepancies arise, investigations
are done communicated accordingly.
Compilation of the annual master budget;
• Assisting commercial manager to achieve sales budget, based on
current/ projected pricing per global approved forex for budgeting.
• Considering the sales volumes requested from customer or customer
based volumes.
Assisting where possible the Finance Department with general queries,
reconciliations, audit and ad-hoc exercises;
• Assisting auditors with sales queries, newly nominated projects,
tooling orders for awarded projects.
Assisting senior management with general monthly analysis of financial results
as well as further ad-hoc exercises;
• Any sales / price related queries
Compilation of margin analysis on BOM’s costing versus RFQ’s
• This is part of objectives to ensure margin achieved.
• The above are completed on a quarterly bases when forex / price
changes are captured.
Costing of current and new projects - Compilation of quote to customer
• Request to quote from customers for current, new and service
Above responsibilities and interactions involves costings all parts
manufactured at our four existing plants in South Africa (Uitenhage, Pretoria
Silverton & Rosslyn, Durban), we are a Tier 1 supplier to the below customers
