Job Title: (Engineering Manager).
Description:
- Ensure appropriate application of the Project Management Process with respect to analyze information and the related day to day functioning to facilitate a seamless communication of all relevant technical and non-technical information across the organization on a real-time basis for maximum effectiveness.
- Lead the Project team in delivering a high quality and professional services, providing direction, guidance, and advice on matters relating to design and construction management process.
- Ensure that all team members are kept in the loop and informed about important decisions and client’s feedback.
- Take the lead in the training and development of individuals within the function team.
- Develop “Shop Drawings” to capture client/stakeholders intent and project’s requirements.
- Conduct a design review, at each phased gateways, for all utility submissions and ensure completeness, correctness, and compliance with the scope of work. Ensure the incorporation of comments from previous design reviews.
- Review utility connection-points and ensure that MEP buildings loads’ are in-line with the development supplied utility capacities.
- Propose alternative solutions to improve the design, delivery processes and cost through value engineering workshops.
- Maintain a record of design deliverables for Utility trades and manage, in a timely manner, submittals and correspondences received.
- Monitor the flow of Shop and as-built drawings and submittals, review them and raise issues and suggest alternative solutions.
- Manage value engineering opportunities and provide feedback to the project manager and construction manager.
- Support Project Managers/Construction Engineers to develop templates for variances and guidelines for corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the commissioning team and witness testing and commissioning process for the MEP and other Utilities systems.
- Collaborate with other construction engineering disciplines to enhance projects overall solutions.

Job Description:
- Managing and organizing all elements of the MEP construction works on site.
- To manage terms and deliverables for both the prime contract and subcontracts in order to protect the Company’s risks and contractual obligations.
- Lead, instruct and motivate all production team staff.
- Co-ordinate and liaise with the Client on project issues.
- Plan and organize site resources including materials and personnel.
- Preparation of Method Statements.
- Co-ordination and management of sub-contractors on site.
- Ensure project program, objectives and targets are achieved.
- Review and monitor HSE concerns at site in order to ensure a safe working environment, in line with the Project Safety Plan.
- Liaising and coordinating with project CIVIL team
