Working on both onshore and offshore projects have a wide range of responsibilities. Here's a breakdown of some key areas:
General Responsibilities:
• Design and Analysis: Using engineering principles and software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ), design steel structures to withstand specific loads and environmental conditions. This involves performing structural calculations, creating detailed drawings, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Material Selection: Select appropriate steel grades, thicknesses, and connection types based on the structure's purpose and environmental factors like corrosion resistance for offshore applications.
• Fabrication: They collaborate with fabricators and construction teams to ensure the structures are built according to their designs. This may involve reviewing shop drawings, providing technical guidance during construction, and conducting inspections.
• Piping and Equipment Supports: Designing steel supports for piping systems, pressure vessels, and other onshore equipment.
• Skids Structures: Designing steel structures for offshore platforms, including decks, and modules. These structures must be designed to withstand harsh marine environments, including waves, currents, and wind.

Major executed works-
• Actively participated in the modification of structure building due to the addition of a floor which is partially constructed on site, named Central service office C7 (B1 + B2 + G + 6 + PH)at Al Khoud, Muscat.
• Collaborate with Architect for revision of School building structure at Mabehla, Muscat.
• Ensure and overview the existing structure building of Bank Muscat, induce the modification with one data centre facility etc for Wadi Kabir, Muscat.
• Complete the design of the warehouse steel shed building having a crane facility for Renaissance group.

• Actively participated in the modification of structure building due to addition of floor which is partially constructed on
site, named Central service office C7 (B1 + B2 + G + 6 + PH) at Al Khoud, Muscat.
• Collaborate with Architect for revision of School building structure at Mabehla, Muscat.

Major executed works-
• Completely analyzed, modelled, and designed with all structure detailed structure drawings of the B+G+8 commercial and residential building named Yahya Project as per ACI standards considering all lateral loadings using Etabs, AutoCAD & Excel sheets.
• Analyzed and proposed the different types of pipe rack steel structures for the Sohar Iron ore factory to ease the firefighting system for the whole factory. Steel structures proposed from 0.3m high to 10.0m high with 12.0m span structures are done. (Etabs, excel sheet, Idea Statica, and Advance Steel - Autodesk software are used.)
• Completely analyzed, modelled, and detailed the structure of the Salalah Villas Project, this project consists of two 2-different luxury villas and one grand luxury villa at the Salalah location.
• Modelled and designed with all detailed structure drawings for G+3 Nizwa Bank commercial structure for the Dhofar location using Etabs and AutoCAD.
• Analyzed modelled and designed the steel structure consisting of the mezzanine floor used for Pharmacy cool storage. This structure is proposed inside the very old RCC structure building in which retrofitting is not feasible and advisable.
• Many other small villa structures are analyzed and designed with all structure detailed structural drawings as per ACI, BS/Euro codes using Etabs and obtain all required building regulations and approvals.
• Conducted regular site visits, provided technical clarification to the site team, and resolved site issues.

• Prepared oil and gas operational sites through structural engineering.
• Provided technical guidance and support during construction for successful site preparation.
• Designed and analyzed warehouses, plants, and plant foundations to ensure stability and functionality under
operational loads.

• Deal with Baladia (municipality of Muscat), for rectifications, and revisions.

• Check and rectify the B+G+13 residential structure Etabs model named Belvedere Building.
• Check and rectify Etabs model and structure drawing of the LIG, MIG, HIG and EWS (G+4) residential building units as per IS standards of One World township Project, Garden Bay township project and Mannat township Project.
• Complete Modelled, analyzed and designed the Community Hall of Garden Bay township project.
• Analyzed and designed the underground STP tanks of the Garden Bay project.
• Supervised intern on the Iridium Steel Structure project.
• Ensure all projects are as per IS code standards, serviceable, safe and durable.
