DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED:
•Hazard analysis and risk assessments at work site.
•Development and implement safe systems for specific site activities in conjunction with the HSE Manager.
•Prepare site specific safety manual and safety inspection checklists in association with Project Manager and HSE Manager.

•Monitoring and inspecting the works carried out near the excavation and de watering areas, especially at piles construction areas in bridges.
•Conducting HSE meeting among staff, weekly HSE meeting with client & top management.
•Enforcing the road safety rules.
•Inspecting and rendering advice for procurement of best quality personal protective equipment.
•Conduct safety awareness talks and toolbox meeting.
•Training of employees on methods of safe work practices and providing necessary technical guidance of accident protection.
•Report to site management any unsafe conducting or defects in site or equipment.
•Inspection of fire alarm system, and fire extinguishers.
•Inspection of scaffoldings very carefully.
•Inspection of excavation and protection method.
•Visual inspection of lifting tackles and equipment.
•Checking the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of all working employees like uniform, safety helmet, safety shoes, and safety glasses. If the work is on elevated area then the use of safety belt.
•Coordination meetings with the Engineers, foreman and safety manager to ensure the safety procedures being implemented on the site.
•Safety training, safety orientation and safety meetings on weekly basis.
•Monitored housekeeping to maintain clean environment from workers on the construction site.
•Checking work permits together with job hazard analysis for work. Arranged the required Personal Protective Equipments (PPE’s)
•Safety alert displays and slogans. Making sure that the electrical equipments and hand tools has no defects on cables, plugs, switches and on the motor.

•Promote health and safety within the organization and development safer and healthier ways of working.
•Application of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices.
•Inspect and test machinery and equipment to make sure safety regulations.
•Make sure that personal protective equipment is being used in workplace to regulations.
•Make sure that dangerous materials are correctly stored.
•Identify and test work areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
•Coordinate emergency procedures.
•Communicate frequently with management to report on the health and safety programs.
•Recommend or demands necessary action or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance with regulations.
•Development health and safety systems, including policies, procedures and manuals.
