QA/QC Engineer (ELECTRO-MECHANICAL SERVICES)

Responsibilities

• Establishes and monitors control of Quality Assurance /Quality Control Plans, Method of Statements and Test Plans before commencement of the project and implementing it.
• Sees to it that control of document procedures is implemented and all approved documents from consultant are distributed through the document control system.
• Checks Inspection and Test Plan if available and all method statements and test plan are submitted for the consultant as per the approved ITP plan.
• Prepares work inspection request (WIR) for each construction activity and submitted to consultant to ensure it covers all the construction activities done on site.
• Verifies if work inspections are carried out as per the plan and advice the construction team for the corrective action to avoid the rejection of work and emphasizes that work inspection shall passed during the first submission with 90% rate.
• Inspects all materials internally before offering inspection to the consultant, raising the NCR to the supplier in case the substandard material is delivered.
• Monitors WIR(work inspection reports) and test reports and update Management, Construction Team, Planning, Quantity Surveyors and Cost Control Departments about the current job status.

The project scope involves Design & construction of a Modern money exchange House with a Data Processing room In Doha Festival city with all the MEP Services including but not limited to Hvac Ducting, CHWP, FA, FF etc
Responsibilities:
 Coordinating all MEP site works for infrastructure of a modern Money Exchange House including data center, including cooling, power, security systems, maintenance operations, and building management systems.
 Leading a team of different Vendors involved in the works and gauging the progress of work as per project schedule.
 As a total in-charge of Project, looking after all the MEP works and interdisciplinary coordination to avoid delays
 Forecasting the blue collar and white-collar requirement along with material in conjunction to budget and schedule
 Active coordination with procurement team, suppliers and subcontractors & consultant related to design, material and progress
 Assisting Vendors sub contractors with respect to any requirements pertaining to progress.
 Representing The client side to Government authorities for any inspection for approvals
 Active coordination with (Operations Team), & Mall Management for easy and smooth operations

Responsibilities:
 Coordinating all site activities involving in Mep Services Hvac, FF, FA etc for the retail premises
 Leading a team of Technicians & supervisors involved in the Mep Installation & Execution works and gauging the progress of work as per project schedule.
 Preparing work schedules and responsible for timely progress of work as per schedule complying to Quality and HSE policies.

 Coordinating appropriate issues with other Technical Departments at site to help meet the required specifications.
 Attending and convening all preparatory meetings with the client representative for agreement of each and every activity.

The projects scope involved construction of transmission Station (DATA CENTER)At Bu-Ghulana for Radio Transmissions the scope of work was including Building structure MEP services & infrastructure Utility services but not limited to Hvac, fire fighting, fire pump room fire Alarm, laying of different infrastructure utilities like laying of Drainage network including sewer system & rain water system, plumbing network across the compound
2. Design & Build Service Block & Department of Nationality & Travel Documents

The project scope involved construction of Immigration Department building with a additional multi story service block building. Including all Mep services, Package Units, Ducting, FF, FA system including but not limited of Drainage network which was including of basement Drainage maintenance system consisting of sump pits & sump pumps in case of basement fill with water .apart from that the whole open area was covered under a rainwater collection system .
Responsibilities:
 Coordinating all site activities involving installation & execution of all Mep services main building structures and auxiliary structures (Fire Pump Room, , Guard Room, ).
 Handling construction work as per contract specification for Mep works (Hvac & FF, FA ).
 Preparing work schedules and responsible for timely progress of work as per schedule complying to Quality and HSE policies.
 Preparing daily, weekly, monthly progress reports of work and monitoring all activities. Attending Client / consultant progress meetings.
 Coordinating with sub-contractors to continuously build processes & systems to improve team productivity.
 Coordinating appropriate issues with other Technical Departments at site to help meet the required specifications.
