Before start of production:
Pre-qualification of contractors and sub-contractors.
Review of requirements for production and product together with owner and contractor.
Before the welding work starts, I review:
QA/QC-system for the welding work, inclusive welding plans and inspection plans.
Welders' certificates and material certificates.
Procedures for welding, heat treatment and NDT.
For the present on-site, where welding is carried out. I check:
Materials and welding consumables.
Joint preparation and tack welding.
Welding data during welding.
The finished weld.
Heat treatment (PWHT)and non-destructive testing (NDT).
After completion of welding work:
Inspect piping systems by line walk and we witness pressure tests.
Review the as-built documentation and close all deviations.
Sum up our mutual experience with our customer.
Record data as per procedures and report any faults found.
Perform all work in safe manner by using all required safety equipment and by the following all safe working procedures.
Monitor WPS related to welding process are followed and conforming with the approved drawings.
Inspection of piping installation, punch list, check the deficiencies of line and confirmation with the drawing i.e. Isometric drawings, Piping Plan drawings & Process and Instrumentation Drawings.
Attend Request for inspection (RFI) with hold and witness points.
Walk through. And Inspection for fabrication and welding shop.
Responsibilities:
Visual inspection of weld joints and inspection for NDT (PT, MT, UT, RT, VT).
Record data as per procedures and report any faults found.
Follow for all welders qualification test (WQT) as per Petro Rabigh procedures.
Perform all work in safe manner by using all required safety equipment and by the following all safe working procedures.
Monitor WPS related to welding process are followed and conforming with the approved drawings.
Inspection of piping installation, punch list, check the deficiencies of line and confirmation with the drawing i.e. Isometric drawings, Piping Plan drawings & Process and Instrumentation Drawings.

Inspection of piping installation, punch list, check the deficiencies of line and confirmation with the drawing i.e. Isometric drawings, Piping Plan drawings & Process and Instrumentation Drawings.
Review piping supports drawings and prepares punch list items.
Review QC Sub-contractors personnel.
Write inspection reports, non-compliance reports, and make log book entries.
Perform all work in safe manner by using all required safety equipment and by the following all safe working procedures.
Addition to piping welding, Oxygen welding and welding, also Installation and manufacture and pipes installation.
Visual inspection for NDT.
Visual inspection of weld joints.
Visual inspection of piping joints before, during after welding for the erection, Preparation of visual inspection reports for the acceptance rejection of welds.
General Maintenance.
Addition to piping welding, Oxygen welding and stanlessteel welding, also Installation and manufacture and pipes installation.
Visual inspection for NDT.
Visual inspection of weld joints.
Visual inspection of piping joints before, during & after welding for the erection, Preparation of visual inspection reports for the acceptance rejection of welds.
All kind of process welds in addition to Oxy-Acetylene cutting metal process.
The Installation of all piping works as well as equipments.
Perform all process welding types under the supervision of Sweden and Norway expertise following the International Standards of welds.
