Provided pro-active financial analysis of performance results of fiscal activities for the executives and directors. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly financial presentation inclusive of key statistics & ratios for senior management and highlight the significant challenges.
Monitor & analyze financial performance by measuring and analyzing results against budget and prior year; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
Ensure that monthly financial reporting obligations are met in relation with corporate office submission requirements.
Assist & review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
Monitors budget allocations, expenditures, fund balances and related financial activities for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate, revenues are recorded, expenses are within budget limits and/or fiscal practices are followed.
Oversee Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCMS) functions like billing, coding, denial, collection, patient access etc. and update CFO accordingly.
Conducts cost-benefit analyses as required to assist in making management decisions regarding benefits of current and proposed program proposals, capital budgets, etc.; creates financial models using excel spreadsheets.
Actively involved in funding module proposed by SEHA for self reliance policy, identify major components like revenue leakages, mandate costing and national pay premium etc. and capturing data with control mechanism.
Also actively involved in corporate office projects like departmental productivity & physician pay for performance.
Closely working with CFO & prepare various executive reports & representations like Senior Executive Committee, Operational (OPS) Committee Review, Joint Service Commission Review (JSR), Management Overview Committee, RCM Steering Committee Review & Annual Reports etc.
Setting up finance & administration departments, managed, directed & controlled all financial activities including management returns, budgeting, cash flow, dealing with bankers & financial institutions to meet the fund requirement. Establish and maintain effective reporting procedures and provides financial information to the Head of Dept. and Senior Management.
