Responsibilities:
• Sorting through the information available to determine its value, reliability and accuracy before passing it on to the public, identifying sources of information to enable the audience to evaluate its credibility and presented all news items in a lucid and readable format.
• Endeavoring to provide a complete picture of the event or news item covered while ensuring a balanced and unbiased tone, endeavoring to get news from the most authentic source and as comprehensively as possible.
• Producing concise and accurate copy according to the newspaper's house style and the regulatory and management standards and adhering to strict deadlines on all reporting assignments undertaken and given to the team under purview.
• Maintaining a stringent code of ethics in reporting news/events to ensure integrity of information and avoiding any conflicts of interest whether real or perceived to both establishment and individuals.
• Staying abreast of emerging new media tools and technology, developing and recommending new media strategies to incorporate emerging tools/technology according to industry and competition benchmarks.

• Wrote for Al Qabas in Kuwait, “Laha” Magazine in Dubai and Real Estate Magazine in Ras Al Khaimah across different periods concurrently.
