 Possess a comprehensive knowledge of incident prevention processes and project HSE requirements.
 Accept responsibility for the implementation of incident prevention processes and safe work practices at the project/site.
 Ensure that each employee has received an initial HSE orientation and it has been signed for acknowledgment of the receipt information.
 Explain applicable rules, requirements, and procedures to employees under my direct supervision and ensure each employee understands the rules, requirements, and procedures.
 Consistently enforce HSE rules, requirements, and procedures.
 Maintain a zero tolerance for unsafe acts.
 Supervise the instruction and training of new employees.
 Monitor employees’ performance to ensure the use of safe work practices.
 Be responsible for the use, and maintain personal protective devices, equipment, and safeguards.
 Perform routine and organized HSE inspections in your work areas.
 Attend and participate in supervisor HSE meetings.
 Conduct “toolbox” incident prevention meetings for employees under your supervision as required by project procedures.
 Immediately report all incidents that have, or could have, resulted in personal injury or property damage.
 Assist in incident investigations and submit a report promptly on required forms.
 Participate in the preparation of departmental or project HSE rules.
 Correct HSE hazards on the spot.

 Attend meetings with client and Consultants.
 Managing HSE of all subcontractors and supply workers.
 Preparing of complete documentation pertaining to the projects.
 Attending walkthrough with consultants and rectifying the same.
 Carry out performance reviews & give guidance & mentor support to HSE Advisors.
 Promote a culture of HSE within & with the contractors.
 Carryout periodic inspections of the project to ensure compliance & where applicable make recommendations for change.
 Collaborate with line management in the development of required revisions to existing safety procedures, practices, rules and regulations.
 Establish a working relationship, promoting and advising on H&S issues with the Client, Project Team and Contractors.
 Maintain and update knowledge of HSE best practices and standards within the organization.
 Make Arrangement & assessment of H&S Training based on project requirements
 Ensure incident reporting & investigation is carried out effectively and immediately to determine root cause and provide recommendations/directions aimed at preventing re-occurrence.
 Review and analyze the project incident data & KPI’s on a monthly basis.
 To inspect and monitor all excavation works and implement HSE control measures for excavation jobs.
 To display and maintain HSE posters in the designated area and update the HSE notice boards periodically.

 Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
 Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
 Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
 Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
 Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
 Establish a full program of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks.
 Establish a structured program of health & safety training throughout the project. Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training program and health and safety services.
 Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the project.

 Ensure that the company and client HSE Management System is strictly implemented.
 Conducting site inspections and monitoring.
 Conducting site toolbox talks, awareness trainings, induction trainings, staff and management meetings.
 Investigate accidents and complaints to determine if there has been a breach of health and safety management system.
 Issuing necessary work permits to all trades and sub-contractors.
 Conducting internal Safety Audits.
 Reviewing Risk Assessments as per the Method of Statement provided by the performing team and sub-contractors.
 Implementation of safety policies and procedures required by the client.
 Safety Report writing (Including accident and incident reports)
 Preparing and submitting HSE reports (Weekly, Monthly), and close-out reports
