 Draft commissioning/de-commissioning procedures (SOPs) for Utilities & Hydrocarbons.
 Witness for continuity, loop & functional tests in field & DCS.
 System Walk down, Identification & Verification of punch items for piping, instruments, electrical & mechanical equipment as per the P&ID and Isometric drawings.
 Inspection, reporting & maintaining record of Quality Verification Documentation (QVDs) - Hydro Testing, Nitrogen Leak Testing, Condition Monitoring of Rotary equipment, Chemical Cleaning, Air Blasting/Blowing, Acid Cleaning, Flushing.
 Preservation/mothballing of lines, vessels by Nitrogen as per requirement.
 Issue work permits for Cold, Hot, Confined Space, Excavation & Vehicle entry to maintenance and contractors.
 Pre-planning of required systems/sub-systems that may need to be started and quantities of supplies needed to run a particular system.
 Pre-planning of man-hours that will be needed to carry out the task.
 Maintain records for blinds, car seals, carry gas test for hazardous areas/confined space.
 As a Testing champion responsible for preparing overall testing plan for dynamic testing of each system and components
 Responsible for Model review of all systems and equipment through integrated smart plant review of 3D-module.
 To perform engineering duties designed to support processing activities, including optimization of facilities according to long term plans.
 Liaising with Plant Maintenance and Technical personnel to monitor equipment performance and to prepare cost estimates.
 To analyses and interface activity like utility demand versus supply to process plants like Olefin crackers, Polycarbonates, EO/EG, HDPE, LDPE.
 To interact with vendors to evaluate utility process needs as per requirement..

Duties & Responsibilities
 Managed various activities including normal start-up, shutdown and duty changeover of plant/equipment.
 Responsibilities to provide technical support for operations to check day to day performance of all plant from a process engineering standpoint and flag all problems, carry out process analysis and trouble shooting on any problems in operating areas including energy savings and economics of plant operations.
 To carry out complete feasibility and viability studies; together with developing relevant P&ID’s and flow sheets for modification / new construction / debottlenecking activities.
 Follow lock out/tag out procedures of electrical equipment.
 Maintain record for shift activities, running hours of equipment, staff trainings, historical data’s for plant tripping etc.
 Ensure timely calibration of all instruments, gauge’s, for complete reliability.
 Identified the potential hazards and made suggestions for needed rectifications.
 Developed plan for ensuring compliance to all HSE activities and practices.

 Ready for start-up unit Instrument loop checking, function test of system.
 Pre-commissioning procedure review, chemical cleaning and passivation of lines.
