1. Prepare, review, and negotiate client contracts and subcontracts for the provision of drilling rigs and oilfield services while ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organizational requirements.
2. Contract management including variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts.

1. Reporting to the Team-Leader, Contracts (Commercial) within the Procurement Division Division.
2. Manage client Service Agreements and Purchase Orders.
3. Assigned as a focal point for tender and contract related communications with the clients.
4. Receive “Invitation to Bid” from clients and review the tender documents in order to assess ADNOC Drilling’s capability to participate in tenders.
5. Liaise with the concerned stakeholders to prepare and submit bids in a timely manner.
6. Work closely with the legal team to review contractual terms and conditions in order to evaluate ADNOC Drilling’s exposure to any potential risks.
7. Actively maintain a Contract Registry & Tender Tracker to keep track of all on-going contracts and tenders.
8. Proactively inform clients of contracts due to expire in order to secure an extension, subject to mutual agreement.
9. Work in collaboration with the Business Development team in order to convert potential opportunities into committed agreements.
10. Represent ADNOC Drilling in all industry events and exhibitions.
11. Establish a personnel development plan in order to train entry point Emirati employees.
12. Prepare reports and presentations for executive management team.

1. Played a key role in the strategic sourcing team within the Procurement Division.
2. Responsible for the purchase of “Capital Equipment” as per the annual CAPEX Procurement Plan.
3. Responsible for the procurement of equipment being purchased for the first time for the newly established Oilfield Services Division.
4. Exclusively in charge for the purchase of all software needed to carry out Integrated Drilling Service operations.
5. Extended support to the department by taking on critical and urgent requirements to support various Major Maintenance projects.
6. Played a key role in the annual updation of the Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
7. Preparing monthly and quarterly performance reports for the entire department.
8. Represent purchasing department in audit meetings to address their findings and proposing precautionary measures to be put in place to improve on the best procurement practices.

I was assigned as the coach/mentor for two “Youth Development” trainees where my responsibilities included but were not limited to their overall learning of the procurement process & IT systems, developing a 12-month learning plan, conducting various product & process related training sessions held by myself or by inviting specialists from various end user disciplines.

Responsibilities included, but not limited to making recommendations for system enhancements and charged with conducting several SAP HANA & Ariba training sessions for both procurement staff and end user functions.
