• Understanding the project specification, NFPA, Qatar Construction Specification, Bristish Standard and ASTM as required.
• Collaborate with subordinate and give them training as required.
• Review/asses Engineering Judgment for fire stopping application and coordinate with Fire Engineer.
• Control, review and respond documents submission, included but not limited to shop drawing, method of statement, structural, material submission from contractor related to Civil Works, Architectural, Structural and Coordination drawing.
• Review monthly progress evaluation submitted by Contractor.
• Conducted site inspection, monitor the site activity, reporting.
• Being key person for coordination work with inter-discipline for smooth site execution.
• Control the revision drawing issued by designer/client and advice the impact to progress.
• Lead interface meeting with contractors which has clashing work, to discuss the problem and take necessary decision and action to avoid any delay, in addition developed work plan with contractors and all relevant parties for execution.
• Respond RFI (Request For Information) from the contractor, coordinate with another discipline to provide right accurate respond and/or issue In-house RFI to the designer if necessary.
• Checked accuracy of construction drawing and document for execution;
• Motivates the Site Engineer and the sub-contractor to perform in terms of Safety, and perform ITP (Inspection and Testing Plan) & Method Statements;
• Monitored implementation of construction revision drawing;
• Reviewed test packages submitted by contractors for completeness and ensure as built make up is done and submit the report for final update;
• Assist Document Control department in preparing the close out report for project handover.

Finished and on going Projects
1. Supreme Council Head Quarter
The Client is Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the project is to build a provided a range of services for the campus, focusing on the integration of five office buildings of the Supreme Educational Council Headquarters in Qatar. The designed “Wall of Knowledge” is a double-height internal street linking the five buildings around a central courtyard, Those are Secretary General Office, Shared Service Building, Higher education Building, Evaluation Institute Building and Education institute Building. Its' gallery allows drop-off access from the landscaped deck whilst the lower-ground level responds to climatic realities by enabling direct pedestrian access from the car park. The buildings and a central fountain raise through openings in the deck that also direct light and air down. Contract amount $270 Million

2. Education City Project Qatar - North & South Campus Infrastructure (Priority)
The Client is Qatar Petroleum-Qatar Foundation JV, the package is to set up the infrastructure within north & south campus in Education city, which has total area 1400 hectare, include water network, irrigation network, firefighting network, drainage network, permanent and temporary road, substation, utility tunnel runs for 28 km connected from Central Plant to offices and campuses. Contractor amount $552 Million

The project is contracted to Dubai Rapid Link (DURL) a consortium of four companies to build a high-tech driverless rail transit system across Dubai for 79 km LRT, Contract amount USD 3.4 Billion. The project consist of column pier works, girder, elevated station and underground station include the bridge to provide access from across the road. The stations a uniquely design as a shell, I involved in elevated station consist of customized steel structure, cladding works, stone work, stainless steel work and customize glasses cladding. Also interfacing with signaling and communication team is very essential. In this project engineering team particularly has 4 site engineers to tackle station both structural work and finishing work. As Chief Civil Engineer, my duties and responsibilities included:
• Direct report to Construction Manager
• Delivered the construction activity comply to HSE (Health, safety and environment) standards and Project requirements in every line of works;
• Prepare weekly planning and scheduling the site activities and planning of heavy equipment mobilization to control manpower and controlling the site cost.
• Managed site stock yard for steel structure prior erection;
• Being key person in-charge for coordination with traffic department when it is required Monitored
• Manage and monitored arrangement works such as tiling work, cladding work, ceiling work which controlling material onsite and manpower of subcontractors.
• Managed and monitored application and progress of tiling, cladding and façade work to synchronize with other trade, mechanical, electrical or signaling and communication;
• Prepared cost record, additional work and maintain cost constraint;
• Checked accuracy of approved construction drawing and document for execution;
• Conducted site inspection and explain work requirement;
• Carried out construction daily coordination meeting;
• Motivates the Site Engineer and the sub-contractor to perform in terms of Safety, and perform ITP (Inspection and Testing Plan) & Method Statements;
• Monitored implementation of DAS (Document Amendment Sheet) and FCR (Field Change Request).
• Interfaced with Electrical & Mechanical for smooth execution;

With TeamworX Indonesia, I has been completed 2 projects,
1. British Oxygen Company (BOC Gases)- Extension Facility and Production Building with overhead crane 120 tons SWL
The project was developing and supervising extension facility and production building with overhead crane 120 tons SWL. The construction work was in live production plant which is definitely a confine space, complex area and dealing with existing equipment, piping and machines. Planning and method of work that comply HSE was strongly important. We have to use duel-crane to lift 30 m truss-beam up to 50 m high and install it. Precision in engineering and planning and safety is the key to success of this project. Total contract value approximately USD 18.7 million. In this project 4 site engineers get involved in this project.

2. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. Construction of new Office Facilities Building, Heavy Equipment Workshop Building, Oil Storage, Lubricant Equipment Storage and Office Building in Batu Hijau -Nusa Tenggara
The project involved the development and supervising the construction of new office facilities building, heavy equipment workshop building, Oil storage, Lubricant Equipment Storage, the project was in remote area in Batu Hijau - Newmont Nusa Tenggara. This project due to remote location strong Coordination, Planning of logistic is important, further coordination with client such as Newmont operation manager and HSE is very essential to bring the project successfully.. As behalf of the client, I was controlling contractor to work keep on schedule and contractual. Total contract value approximately USD 12.5 million.

In this project Engineering Team consist of 5 engineers. The project is a 26th floor high rise building for offices, auditorium and car park, the scope of work was from foundation up to finishing work for each particularly offices, for parking area we use precast concrete as parapet around building, cladding and glass curtain outside and for the offices demountable partition were designed. As site engineering manager, author ought to prepare the method of work which is applicable and acceptable in not only in engineering but also in cost and timely manner. Total contract value more than 97 billion rupiah. As Civil Engineering Manager, my duties and responsibilities included:

• Direct report to Project Manager.
• Checked and review the Construction system and work comply to HSE standards and requirements;
• Managed and involved in planning and controlling project cash flow from the start of to the completion of the project, include closely making decision and action to determine the company’s ability to manage profitability and positive cash flow.
• Prepared and produced the shop drawing, sketch, method statement, collaborated with site team to managed all site activities and monitoring to control that all works are on the track;
• Managed and delivered construction activities in cost, quality and timely manner;
• Checked accuracy of approved construction drawing and document for execution;
• Preparing the bar bending schedule up to optimum combination for fabrication;
• Managed, monitored and controlled construction expenses/cost control;
• Managed, Monitored & controlled all test reports for compliance to the project standard.

1. Astra-Honda Motor Project, 1st, 3rd and 4th Package, Cikarang Indonesia. The project completed in 2004,
As Chief Civil Engineer and had supported by 4 Site Engineer and 2 Drafter to tackle this project. Project Value approx. U$17 Million. The project is an industrial project, consist of 4 production/assembling rooms which connected by the bridge at the second floor. The project was redesign due to tight schedule requirement, we decided to use precast column, beam and wall, instead block work or cast in-situ slab or beam. Run this project we were work closely with VSL for Prestressing work, to develop girder beam for intersection room in between 4 building using post tension type. This work had a specific challenge since it the uniquely position at intersection between 4 buildings on each corner. He must prepare the method of work, sequence of work and assessment of the equipment, such as crane, that would be used for in safely manner.

2. PT. Suba Indah Tbk. Project, a Corn Wet Milling Plant, at Cilegon Indonesia. The project completed in 2002.

Suba Indah, a Corn Wet Milling Plant is 1st corn refiner in Indonesia and the biggest in South East Asia which producing corn starch, corn sweetener (glucose, maltose, maltodextrine), feed ingredients (corn gluten meal, corn germ meal, corn gluten feed), and corn oil some product.
Suba Indah Project had area of the development site is 91.200 m2. The design was made with various type structure, Steel structure, precast column, precast wall and beam. The work involve with machine foundation, ten silo with 23 m in diameter and 30 steeping tank buildings, 4th level high rise building for production room (Glucose plant, Maltodextrine plant, Corn Starch Plant), 2 Basement with elevation -5.00 under sea level, 1 facility for waste water treatment plant, Construction of corn lift tower up to 51.5 m consist of steel structure, Oil Plant, Main Storage, Bagging Plant and Offices. The contract value was approximately $15 million.

3. PT. Bumi Mulya Indah Lestari, a Plastic packaging industry, at Merak Indonesia.
Bumi Mulya Indah Lestari, an industry and manufactures of plastic bottles. The Company designs, develops, and produces plastic packaging, technical parts, and materials handling supplies for consumer and industrial applications. The Project consist of manufacturing and process building including storage, dormitory, canteen and car parking.

4. PT. Surya Toto Indonesia, a major fitting and sanitary manufactures in Indonesia and world wide
PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk is an Indonesia-based firm that manufactures sanitary equipment, fittings and kitchen equipment. It offers a whole range of products for residential and non-residential spaces such as bathtubs, showers, toilets, kitchen cabinets, and related accessories.

5. PT. Yamatogomu Indonesia, a manufacturer of rubber parts
PT. Yamatogomu Indonesia, is rubber manufacturing for motor and car spare parts. The project was to build a processing plant building and storage building

6. PT. Ateja Multi Industri a textile industry and manufacturer, Indonesia.
PT. Ateja Multi Industri, is a textile industry which specialized for premium interior fabric.
