Job Responsibilities:
•Responsible for export documentation-issuing necessary documents for legalization with the Ministry of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce for the border clearance for all the land export shipments.
•Support commercial communications in support of the business objectives.
•Manage, integrate and control the sales and contract strategy for the defined customer base.
•Responsible for clean negotiation of export documents with bank under Sight and usance Letter of Credits in assurance with prevailing Law of UCP 600 of International Chamber of Commerce.
•Handling of Domestic & Export trade operation under letter of credit and/or open account.
•Timely closing of monthly accounts in respect of recording trade transactions.
•Responsible for overseas debt collection and manage assigned portfolio.
•Assemble customs documentation including certificates of origin and commercial invoices for customers as needed for customs clearance.
•Specify documentation and format including all internal documentation required for approval purposes and manage the process ensuring that documentation is provided from the Operational Team to the required schedule.
•Scrutiny of Bill of lading & pursue with shipping companies for collection of original BL after receiving confirmation from the customer.
•Proper recording of credit note/ debit note.
•Follow-up /correspondence with the customers for the prompt payment as per agreed terms.
•Keeping track with the Warehouse & Logistics Dept. for on time delivery for Customer Satisfaction.
•Review Customer monthly reports, identifying contracts that need review prior to submission to the Customer Administration Account Manager.
•Risk Management and Liaise with credit insurance companies.
•Responsible to secure all open account transactions under approved credit limits of export customers by ICIEC (Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Export Credit), the most reputable Credit Insurance Agency and subsidiary of IDB (Islamic Development Bank).
•Preparation of insurance of investment and export credit statement.
•Responsible for maintaining accurate record of sales documentation i.e. Commercial invoice, sales invoice, Packing list under FSC standards (Forest Stewardship Council)
