Senior Health Information Systems Consultant
Currently working in a healthcare organization on an HIS project. The roles of my job conclude the following:
- HIS technical specialist: MediTech and DentiMax
- Server administration - Data centers (IBM Servers)
- PC administration
+ Windows 7 mainly
+ Windows XP and Windows 8
- Technical administration of the HIS programs
- Testing HIS programs/utilities for compliance with the client environment
- Researching the compatibility of devices to the current HIS’s
- Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
- LIS communications setup
- Lab analyzer LIS configurations and LIS troubleshooting
- Virtualization (Hyper-V)
- SQL Server administration and configuration
In charge of the IT department for HQ in Amman, and branches in Irbid and Aqaba.
Role included the following:
- Maintaining the labs in all locations, which included PC’s and audio and visual aids.
- Maintaining the language lab at headquarters.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining audio and visual peripherals within classrooms and meeting rooms.
- Maintaining computers and their peripherals in classrooms and offices.
- Designing and implementing a fiber and Ethernet network.
- Maintaining the network: Ethernet cabling only, as well as switches/routers.
- Buying and managing of software licenses such as Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
- Designing and implementing a digital bulletin board.
- Supervising the buying of 100 PC’s and 8 servers in one project.
- Supervising and buying of over 30 PC’s throughout the working period.
