Worked as a web developer with the following responsibilities:
• Develop company and group front-end websites.
• Develop Desktop and Web Applications for different employees to automate previously manual tasks.
• Develop and customize reports using Crystal Reports or MS Report.
• Maintain backups of databases.
Some Accomplishments:
• Suggested and implemented an Open Source ticket tracking web app for the technical support group, which improved tracking of issues, response times and overall user experience.
• Standardized a UI for business web applications and accepted Team Foundation as a source control tool.
• Developed HR web application from scratch using ASP.NET/VB.NET with Twitter’s Bootstrap for UI.
• Developed Assets Management web application with barcode tracking.
• Developed a simple payroll windows application that is compliant with Wages Protection System of Ministry of Labor.
General Tasks:
• Contribute with the team in government tenders by calling suppliers for prices.
• Evaluate proposals and coordinate contact and meetings with key users.
• Assist the technical group with network installation at customer sites when resources are limited.
• Help end users resolve issues with third-party applications.
