Project Area : Jordan
Project Purpose : Protection for the Arab Gas Pipeline against water flood.
Task Description : Consultancy service ( Supervision ) for Arab Gas Pipeline protection against flash floods project.
Supervision Tasks:
• Manage all activities related to Gas Pipeline protection Systems Construction Projects, including but not limited to Review designs, review shop drawings, models update during the construction stages.
• Study needed Variation Orders
• Participate in the preparation and review of all relevant project documents
• Provide all necessary approvals for materials and procedures required for the project construction works
• Review and provide comments on all submittals by contractors including work plans, schedules, budgets, expenditure analysis, time lines, deliverable, invoices and other documents
• Review technical reports related activities and reports submitted by contractors and provide comments on completeness, accuracy, issues and recommended actions.
• Follow and Supervise the work constructed by the contractor
• Review base line schedules and schedule updates
• Review invoices
• Identify resource requirements, bottlenecks, risks and mitigation strategies
• Prepare report to provide findings, recommendations and lessons learned
• Assure quality control
• Conduct frequent reporting on the progress
• Ensure compliance with the environment, health and safety requirements
Design Projects:
Designed various types of structures including Hospitals, schools, health centers, residential buildings, multi-story car garages and pumping stations. The designs include all structure members such as beams, columns, shear walls, solid slabs, ribbed slabs, flat slabs, waffle slabs, single footings, continuous stripe footings, raft foundation, retaining walls etc. The impact of earthquakes was taken into account in all projects.
Work Description : Water and Sewer networks design and supervision. The design start from preliminary study throughout detailed design up to tender documents.
Projects : Involved in four master sanitation projects design contain a total of 1200 Km collection networks length and 10 pumping stations with force main pipelines. Various types of pipes were used in the designs with diameters ranging from 150 mm to 1200 mm depending on topographical survey and population density.
Projects locations in Jordan :
- Amman Governorate : 500 Km
- Balqa Governorate : 200 Km
- Madaba Governorate : 200 Km
- Zarqa and Mafraq governorates : 300 Km
Designed and supervised several residential water networks and water trunk lines in various areas of Jordan.
Software : Modeling have been done using advanced software (SewerCad, Watercad, and Excel Sheet) in order to make hydraulic analysis that is compatible with pressure and velocity standards.
Documents : Full packages of tender documents have been Prepared including (Specs, Drawings, Estimated quantity and cost for each item, Schedule, design report).
Site supervision engineer
Analyze the Project Contract Documents Including (Specification, Drawing, BOQ)
- Take off for Overall Project Quantity.
- Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
- Evaluation, Negotiation and Selection of Suppliers, Sub-Contracts.
- Checking of site inspection reports for various works as per approved
- Construction drawings and site verification works executed by the Subcontractor.
- Monitor day to day Work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.
- Preparation of Interim Payments.
- Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ)
- Analysis and Preparation of time and Cost Claims
Civil Engineering Degree with High Hounor Evaluation
